So for me, honestly, overall, there's just something about the DC characters that just click with me.

I've always preferred Batman and Superman to say, Iron Man or Captain America.

However, what is categorically undeniable at this point, is Marvel is churning out films that are infinitely superior to the slop DC has been turning out.

Man of Steel, Batman Vs. Superman and finally Suicide Squad, all, in my humble opinion ... absolute garbage.

One of the better films I saw this year, Winter Soldier, got to the end of that one, felt incredibly content with what I had seen, just solid.

All three of the above DC films I mentioned, barely a "Meh" at the end of those.

What's your thoughts?

It's sad that at this point that Fox is making better superhero movies at this point than Warner Brothers are with pretty much the entire DC universe at their disposal. Then again, they gave the farm to Zack Snyder and he has yet to show he can make a decent superhero movie. However, people will still throw money to see these movies because it's DC and everyone loves Superman an Batman.

Winter Soldier is still by far the best Superhero movie I've ever seen.

Man of Steel killed me, the one particular trailer, was better and more inspiring than the entire film, so many good ideas, especially Supermans suit itself, actually came up with a decent back story to that and it didn't look incredibly camp.

The bits where he struggles with his powers when he was a kid, pretty well done.

But I dunno, they just lost their way, starting with the battle in Smallville.

With how dissapointed I was at Batman vs. Superman (with the exception of Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot) and Suicide Squad (All around terrible IMHO), I fear for the Wonder Woman stand alone movie and Justice League.

Personally, I was never a fan of any of the DC folks, except Batman. The rest were sorta campy, old fashioned. Marvel seemed like it was more tailored to kids my age in the 90s, while DC seemed stuck in the 60s and 70s. However. DC has made some great movies, mostly batman. Micheal Keaton's, for Batman and Batman Returns, are both great flicks. The first Reaves Superman movie, I thought was great as well. Everything after was garbage, but hey. And then there are the first two Bale Batman movies. Awesome flicks, no matter how you slice it. The third was meh, but whatever.

Marvel has a better movie track record, but it almost seems like luck. Like, they are making movies about some pretty awe full franchises. Guardians of the Galaxy? They are marvel D list characters, at best. Ghost Rider, GREAT comics...but alas, someone thought, yeah, let's make it a comedy, and yeah, let's star Nicholas cage! Both sucked. And then there is the disconnect between two universes, apparently. X-Men and the Avengers characters.

The DC television shows are WAY better than the current crop of DC movies.

Batman the animated series from the 90's is widely considered as one of the best cartoons of all time.

D.C. Is doing pretty damn good with their TV shows. But on the big screen Marvel reigns supreme.

The real problem is that marvel is using all thier best storylines from the comics for the live movies and DC isn't using any of their good comic storylines in thier live movies

I wish lame CGI Superhero movies would just go away I'm sick to death of them frankly. A load of explosions bright colours and flashing lights for the cerebrally neutered

The studios spend billions making this crap instead of investing in decent movies with things like a script and acting.
