Simple, please post your suggestions, links to work even better.

Thanks in advance.

My contribution will not be popular beyond the shores of the North East of the UK, she's a musician on Facebook whose daily videos and observations on life are hilarious but the humour doesn't travel. (She lost her job as a teacher after her videos went viral)

Currently it's John Mulaney.

However, sometimes I'm in the mood for a little bit of Dave Attell.

Jim Gaffigan

But how can I say there's one best? Also outstanding stand-up: Lewis Black, John Oliver, Ron White, Stephen Wright, and so forth....

My favourite has to go to Jimmy Carr.

For sheer joke comedy, Gilbert Godfried. For standup, Louis C.K. I saw Emo Phillips live a few months back, absolutely hilarious, but lots of jokes sailed over the heads of folks that lacked the IQ to get the quips.

Jim Jeffries

Louie C.K.

Tom Segura

Of guys (and it would be guys, the women almost always suck) who get on the stage now once in awhile Ron White.

The greats are mostly all dead.

We cant do well comedy now.

There's so many. But currently, Gary Gulman, and the late Mitch Hedberg.

Phillips is great but I gotta be in the right mood.

I actually still need to see Louis C.K., come to think of it.

There's tons of great comedy, but, you might not notice if you're not in an area where comics regularly come through.

Nor do they show up in Netfix. I have tried a half dozen names I recognize from someplace, dont think I have finished a single one.
