Toyota's You don't own me commerical

Some of you guys are idiots.
Toyotas are perfectly good, if not great freakin cars. Especially for the price.

Far cheaper to maintain and last much longer than most American made cars.

Their cars , maybe. To early to tell on the 3g Tacoma that came out in 2016. Seems the new Taco has some of the issues that the 2g didn't. (gear hunting transmission, bad rear diff, whistle noise caused by the control arm holes, oil leaks, failing crankshaft position sensors, off roaders not liking the high rev engine to get hp and torque. Tacoma still has limited seat adjustment, low sitting position.

That said the Tacoma is priced the same or slightly higher than the GM Colorado/Canyon. All of these are way more expensive than a Nissan Frontier. imo, Toyota is living on their reliability reputation which is starting to falter.

As far as the commercial, it was nicely done. Doesn't motivate me to purchase a Toyota.

The "Yotas" have sucked for 3-4 years now, and that is too bad because I always respected the company. American small trucks are doing well over 200,000 miles these days. Maybe things are changing.
