Really excited for this movie! Love everything Nolan touches and the story itself is going to be a lot different from the standard WW2 movie just because of what Dunkirk was and meant. Can't wait for the full length trailer.

Letting the British Army escape was 1 of Hitler's bigger mistakes. And he made plenty of them.

While you're waiting to see the new movie version of the Dunkirk operation, see if you can find an older one online or rentable somewhere:

Dunkirk (1958 film)

The great Richard Attenborough got 2nd billing, and the film was the 2nd highest-grossing that year in the UK.

I saw it with my parents when I was a kid. We all enjoyed it, so maybe there is something in it for all ages.

Nolan's movies range from good to ones having massive plot holes. But at least he strives to make original movies as opposed to the usual dreck that everyone else makes.

Great...another historic battle that will be told with about 20% accuracy by Hollywood.

I have long given up on wasting my money on these types of movies.

I'd much rather see a top quality documentary about Dunkirk then some profit-oriented, Hollywood piece-of-historical nonsense flick.

As long as they get the buttons right on the uniforms I'm good to go. :2razz:

Spoiler: The BEF escapes.
