Lucinda Williams has a voice that sounds like jagged glass cutting through silk. This is my favorite from Lucinda and I have many favorites. She's a Louisiana lady who lives in Texas.

I've been posting Mountain stuff for years on this board. Probably the best pure American Hard Rock band of all time-Grand Funk might have an argument though and later Metallica. The stuff Felix sang like My Lady and Nantucket Sleighride show why many people compared him to another brilliant bassist and vocalist-his close friend, the late great Jack Bruce
