I grew up in a town in So. Cal. next to where Frank Zappa grew up...he was a few years my senior and I never met him...I did meet his old man who owned an auto shop...he had a goatee just like Franks...saw him in concert...one of the more memorable...it started off with one of the guys walking out...picked up, I think it was a violin...started screwing with it...a short bit later...another came out and picked up a different instrument and they began to jam...then another and another...they were all extremely talented...then out came Frank and they continued into some real jamming...after about probably half an hour that entertained at least double that in value, all extremely talented...

Frank stopped...said..."we call that warm up"...just when you thought you'd seen it all...they went on for about an hour and a half





As I recall one lead-in at that concert was...

Regardless of the politics, I found the part you quoted to be quite apropos in a situation I have encountered and yet probably not as intended by the author...thank you...hope it was good fun.
