I heard that one, did you hear the one about how. In WWII if you got V.D, the GI's said you were turning Japanese. I don't think either one is true. I thought I heard the lead singer say, the song was about breaking up with a girl.

I think that is the most common one, but i guess its not true.

who knows. I remember in college, I was trying to get some sleep before a freshman exam only to be awoken by one of my drunk roommates and his even drunker uncle making weird noises, I wandered into the living room and asked WTF they were doing. They were thumbing through the freshman directory and every time they saw and Asian they would squeal like stuck pigs and pretend to masturbate. I said STFU and let me get some sleep and they yelled BUT WE'RE TURNING JAPANESE. So I guess that is where I first was introduced to that concept.

Needless to say My GPA went way up when I got away from that scene the next year!

needless to say, I didn't make the top grade on that exam the next day. IIRC the uncle was some heavyweight at a company I never heard of at that time-HBO and that is where his nephew ended up getting a cushy job with when he graduated in 1981
