OMG! I get annoyed with the Rachel Corrie crowd myself. But this is just awful. You should be ashamed of yourself.

It's not her fault she was raised in Olympia. I suspect if I live around here long enough eventually they'll get me too and I'll be like a pod person spouting off absurd liberal notions. I seriously can feel myself slipping as I type..... I continue to put up the good fight but with the lack of sun I feel my brain starting to mush. It's frankly inevitable. I hope you'll have enough respect for what I was to not laugh at me when I head downtown hellbent on standing in front of an armored stryker vehicle wearing an in memory of Rachel tee underneath a full burka while screaming Allah Akbar and calling cops in riot gear fascists pigs as my husband holds a burning effigy of Bush sporting a Hitler mustache and uses our children to block the rubber bullets and teargas.

You remember who I was 'because Olympia can turn anyone into a flaming fvcktard.

She's a young girl who was crushed by an Israeli bulldozer on the Gaza Strip. The Israeli's say it was accidental as the kids where running in front of the bulldozers to stop them from taking down houses. Almost the whole of Olympia feels it was intentional and she was run over on purpose which is absurd because kids from around here have been running in front of bulldozers over there for a long time and it's frankly amazing that no young American kids were killed prior to her death or since. The idea that it isn't wise to run in front of moving bulldozers is a notion that you best not mention in downtown Olympia where they routinely run in front of military vehicles going to and from the port. Implying at all in any way that Corrie's death might have been her own fault is likely to get you punched in the face by a pacifist. :cool: So basically it's gonna happen again. More than likely right here in Washington next time.

Sounds like natural selection working its magic to me. But I guess I am still cloudy as to why people in Olympia care about some random girl getting run over by a bulldozer in Israel.

She's our local hero. We have this big college here. Evergreen State College. They $hit out protesters faster than mice can breed. These protesters are an amusing mix of pseudo-anarchists and pacifists. They have the mentality of the French and well basically anyone who actually dies for the cause is akin to Christ. So Rachel's our hero around here.

They actually tried to make Rafah a sister city to Olympia, officially! :mrgreen: Israel is our arch nemesis. And it's a given that if you live here you hate Bush. End of Story. I think if I ever mentioned in public that I actually kinda like Bush the people of Olympia would all turn, stare me down, point and do that bone chilling body snatcher yell. :shock:

I see, I read you prior post wrong. Thats my bad. I get it now.

I think this even further backs up my premis that natural selection was at work. Interesting that they seem to embrace matrydom. At least they aren't taking others with them......yet.

Well their latest downtown protests did involve the use of children as human shields. So it all is a bit worrisome.

Worriesome? Indeed. Suprising? Not really.

Humans just don't make very good shields to be honest with you, especially children. Its just science.....

Well they actually are somewhat effective here in our cities. When you're going all ape$hit and pushing rolling dumpsters down hills into oncoming traffic it is highly effective to use children as shields against the cops that come to arrest you. They've learned that it makes great youtube footage. See it's the men that actually get all crazy for the most part breaking stuff, throwing stuff, ect. So the new thing is to let the men do that and then when the cops come the women will encircle the men with cameras rolling (of course). Thus the men are in the middle and in order to get to them the cops have to somehow physically part the curtain of women. Makes for excellent youtube footage and easily is made to look as if the cops are out of control if you don't fully understand the dynamic of what you're seeing and you don't grasp that it's set up that way on purpose.

Furthermore it's hard to taser, spray with pepper spray, hit with a rubber bullet, or even just physically restrain a guy when there's women holding children surrounding said offender.

It certainly does present a dilemma for our men in blue and it drastically impedes their ability to do their job. We simply will not tolerate a police officer harming a child. That's positively unthinkable. So what do you do? Thus far we're at a loss and so chaos ensues. I find the whole thing disgusting but I got to give it to the dip$hits they're getting better at wreaking havoc and the city does seem helpless in its efforts to stop them.

After reading that, I have come to the conclusion I would make a horrible cop. I'd be fired after I plowed my way through a throng of women and children to make my first arrest. I wouldn't beat any of them, mind you but a few would probably get knocked over in the process....

Yeah. I imagine it's quite difficult to be a cop. That's why I almost always give them the benefit of the doubt in protest situations. I've seen what the protesters can do. I've seen firsthand how surprisingly organized they can be. I've also seen how effective they are at using video footage to :spin: a story and the police really have their work cut out for them.

I almost feel that there should be a law that states that minors are not allowed to be at protests. Anyone 12 and under. I'd be perfectly comfortable with that.

A man with a sniper rifle and a clear line of site can put an end to that REAL quick, let's see how much they riot when with rioting comes a chance of a bullet to the head.

What has happened to TOT lately? I mean, he's always been an angry lil tater but its like in the past week or so he has been possessed by the spirit of Sadam with the wanting the killings and the lack of respect for the rest of the globe. He's off his meds. Seriously.

I was thinking that the mods or the admin might want to do something in order to absolve themselves once he actually commits some horrible act. He's done a fine job of documenting his discontent, if not outright hatred, for most of the globe.

I've always found TOT rather impressive in the past given his youth but he does seem decidedly different as of late. Must be the youtube stuff. Fame has gone to his head and like any adolescent who's given a taste of fame he's lost himself.
