Snapchat has been dying for a while now, but since Instagram got Instastories, the decline has increased. I have noticed a considerable less amount of "Snaps" from so called celebrities and friends. On the flipside, Instastories has blown up big time.

The above tweet by Kylie Jenner is important for so many reasons..and not one of the first from such people. Even big time tech guys/girls on the web have been dumping Snapchat and posting on Youtube why and their reasoning is fully valid.

I suspect Snapchat will be bought by one of the big ones soon and incorporated into one of their products. Only thing that might save it.. is if the teens will stay with it... we shall see.

This qualifies: https://www.bloomberg.com/news/arti...-jenner-erased-a-billion-dollars-in-one-tweet. Holy crap, that tweet is worth 1 Billion dollars.

I'm not sure which is more sad. That a company lost a billion dollars, or that a company lost a billion dollars over a know-nothing, do-nothing like Kylie Jenner. We are where we are as a nation because of the fact that people like her have millions of followers. Who the hell is she even? What does she bring to the table?

I mean, snapchat pics are, by design, meant to only last a few seconds. Not sure why people care about the quality of them so much? That said, just screengrabbing the viewfinder is a terrible way for a photo app to work.
