Anyone else into speed running at all?

ive only recently got interested, been watching a lot of GDQ stuff and it’s all pretty interesting.

Im training up to do full game speed runs of Halo 2, one level im within 20 seconds of the WR and might be able to pull off the trick that got it.

Im a massive Halo fan, but I have become sick of the original trilogy after playing it so much, but speed running has given it all a new lease on life, so much fun to discover all these new aspects of the games I never realized before.

It's hard to get on Twitch without finding at least a few streamers doing a speedrun. Old classics such as Mario 64 make for great speedrunning challenges.
 
You might want to look at Games Done Quick, which is coming up next week. It's speed running done for charity.
