Just got one of them theres. Just curious if anyone else has used them. To me it seems to be a mini pc minus the keyboard mouse and extra usb ports.

So I actually got it for work, as a portable means of looking up work related stuff, got a bluetooth keyboard with mousepad which essentially turns it into a mini laptop.

But to the real question, being a true windows tablet/pc thing with 2 gb ram, an intel quad core processor, 32 gb built in storage and expandable to 128 gb, and integrated video, what games yall think it can play. Clearly it's main purpose is not to play games, but I am now curious if anyone has tried it, and how far they have pushed these things graphics wise being a tablet with a pc architecture.

Mine is Android based so have only run Android type games. No problem.

But 2GB RAM probably won't get you far in modern gaming. I run a decent video board and 12GB of RAM on my desktop. OK with modern games. YMMV

Still curious as to pushing it, I have seen on youtube counter strike go pushed on the cherry trail intel processor at very playable fps, granted this game is not new nor a groundbreaking game when it came out, recycling the source engine from 05 but improving it.

I have heard the cherry trail intel runs way faster on android than win10, but very few devices support it, same with apps since most use arm rather than intel architecture.

I wish you luck....

You should be able to play most games in the Windows Store...older PC games that aren't too demanding...and the like. Of course, it also depends on just what CPU is in your tablet. They are getting better, but they just won't measure up to discrete graphics.

You'll need to stick to games that are not graphics intensive, so older games and games that aren't 3D. Some of the newer non-3D games can be processor intensive, though. Here are some fun games that might work for you (they also happen to be games I have discussed here) and the number of hours I put into them as a measure of value:

Pixel Piracy (20hrs) - a fun side scroll RPG style game of the age of piracy. Recruit up to 48 crew for blewd and plewnder ;)

Pixel Privateers (18hrs)- And game using the Pixel Piracy engine, but is a small squad sci-fi shooter

Rimworld (55hrs)- A settlement management game like Dwarf Fortress, with better graphics. Build a base, grow attached to your team, try not to die. (you will die)

Terraria (42hrs)- A side scroller action build-and-explore game with tight progression system and interesting boss fights (warning: the in game music will not leave your head for weeks)

Crea (50hrs) - Identical mechanics to Terraria, but with a more innovative crafting system and more developed RPG elements... but less interesting boss fights (though the less interesting boss fights might be because the crafting allows you to Mix/Max to the point that the boss fights are trivial)

Counter strike go is 3d and works on it, granted it is an updated version of a 2005 graphics engine. I think it can handle 3d well, I am just unsire of the extent it can be pushed, like for example I know it could run some newer 3d games at the very lowest setting, but the rest it will not even run at a playable rate.

Looking at the specs it is on par with a very low end laptop, minus the storage space. Even a very low end laptop can play games with integrated graphics, just not to it's fullest, or more specifically at their lowest setting.

I thought about loading in elder scrolls online to test the tab, but the issue there is not even power so much as storage space, that game has a massive hd requirement, and I would rather not try maxing the internal plus sd card to test a game.

Yeah, that was the other thing I thought about with a tablet. That list I made also works for storage space since all of them are under a gig... maybe under a gig combined.
