Anyone play Quake live

Played it briefly, pretty solid iteration and a neat free game if you wanted to waste a few hours.

But I didn't grow up with Quake so the allure was a bit lost on me...

Quake Wars: Enemy Territory though was a great game as well.

Quake 3 was epic in its day,with people going as far as lan parties to play at competitions lag free. I can not think of many games today taken that serious.

I personally prefer quake one and two though.
 
Nope, but still play Quake 4 as "F***tardicus Prime" (Thus named because I'd taken a 4ish year break from FPS games and couldn't hit a thing when I returned).

There are still a few multiplayer servers going in the evenings.
