I've already had this discussion with my nephews - both of whom are avid gamers. They however do not share my absolute distaste for yet more mediocre superhero or star wars games (don't even start about Star Trek based games...:2brickwal

So without further ado, I've compiled a list from other websites lists that I thought might be something to keep tabs on as the year goes on. Frankly, I'm kinda interested in the Campo game Firewatch and Star Citizen (who knows if it actually will be released in 2015 perhaps 2016) has been the most successful kickstarter perhaps in history with 57 million dollars pledged already (it may actually be more now.)

Tom Clancy's The Division

Evolve

Firewatch

No Man's Sky

Uncharted 4

Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

Quantum Break

Star Citizen

Rise of the Tomb Raider

Interesting. I watched a few minutes of the Firewatch gameplay and as simple as it looks it could be really entertaining. I've always enjoyed the Witcher games so I'm sure I'll check that one out.

Evolve has disappointed me completely.

GGNORE CS:GO is master game and anyone who plays it is master race.

I've heard it's got some mixed reviews. What didn't you like about it?

Its either incredibly one sided (against the Evolved) or it ends up being a 3 hr stand off (if the hunters are new to the game).

Are you playing the alpha? I typically log in long enough to look around and check out some of the updates each release as well as get my hat but thats about it so far. I do not want to spoil any of the story or quests prior to release. If you ever want to hang out in game my SotA forum name is Sir Baralis.

I haven't been following new, incoming games but my son and I talked about Witcher 3. He says it's a pretty good game...better than the previous two...but apparently there is some controversy about the graphics, at least for the PC version. It was previewed with a PC at maxed out settings and looked awesome, but when released, the graphics were dumbed down to next-gen console levels.

Putting Star Citizen in as a 2015 game is wildly optimistic.

A new entry announced today for November, and should be to my mind game of the year: XCOM 2 Announced -- IGN First - IGN

The swoletoids are really creepy looking.

Procedurally generated maps, modding support, stealth tactics that allow for ambushes. Going to be amazing.

The theme seems to be a sort of reverse of XCOM:EU. Alternate reality where you lost the war, aliens took over, and you've got the future utopia-sans-freedom thing going on. You're the invaders trying to overthrow the alien masters.

I really hope I get to launch terror missions of my own. HOW DO YOU LIKE IT NOW, ALIENS!?

omfg thought no one would bring it up.

the ultima series was epic when i was a kid, granted they were ancient in the early 90's when i started playing ultima 1-4 for dos.

richard garriot is a mastermind of roleplaying genius.his only downfall was electronic arts crippling his games and ruining ultima 8 and 9.without ea he will no doubt create a masterpiece like he did in ultima 1-7,without restricted funding and deadlines that forced the games to be gutted.
