I had those games in a DOS platform for years, but I thought the Google thing was interesting, like when Microsoft had the Easter Eggs of past.
Yeah. It looks like it picks random image categories for the blocks. Kind of neat!

actually i think my inlaws still have the original 2600 also known as the (woody) in working condition. complete with joysticks and paddles.
probably have to go to radio shack and get a converter or something for an rca connection.
I would guess that an original Atari 2600 probably has the output in the form of a standard analog TV VHF signal, switchable between channels 3 or 4. That was the usual, back in that day, for devices that were meant to output directly to a TV. I think that even though the VHF band for broadcast of analog TV has been discontinued, most modern TVs probably still support it. At most, you might need an impedance-matching transformer to match the 300Ω output that the 2600 probably has to the 75Ω input that any modern TV would have.
