Top 10 Open World Games

I disagree with that list's ranking. GTA is not the best open world game.

Bethesda is king of that series and because of the extensive mod support to all the bethesda open world series, they're the best open world games.

I prefer MMO's for open world games.

Is it too much to ask to get a proper Lord of the Rings open world game?

Bethesda teams up with Warner Brothers to bring us a fully realized Middle Earth based on the same engine used for Skyrim.

I would honestly pay $200 for that game, no contest.

The best open world I've ever experienced was in Dark and Light. The game was terrible, but the world was immersive, mostly because the world felt and looked huge, you could see off to the horizon in each direction. You could climb any mountain and fly high into the sky.
