Anyone getting this game? I pre-ordered it, all I gotta do is wait till Friday and pick it up. Can't wait, should be amazing, and quite possibly will knock down Bioshock: Infinite as game of the year.

I have it pre-ordered as well.

Supposed to be the pinnacle of PS3. Reviewers call it better than even the Uncharted trilogy.
 
Just picked it up, can't wait to get into it!
 
Only played about an hour so far. Reminds me of the Uncharted series, but much more polished. Almost cinematic quality.

I think I'll play this one slow, just from looking around at all the 20-year old furnishings and such. Really quite a masterpiece, visually.


...and I shivved some guy in the face. That was neat.
 
About half-way through it, and seriously, it's the best game I've played all year. The story has been amazing so far, the gameplay is fantastic, the desperation you feel is simply amazing. Always needing one more bullet, one more item to craft with. Game looks gorgeous, and the sound design is brilliant.

The violence is shocking, what you do to people, and infected all in the name of survival is unreal, it's thrilling during, but it kind of wears on you after a while. Not saying this is bad, this is great, and ties in with the horrible themes of the game so far. It's kind of like the book "The Road" in video-game forum.
 
Okay, so I just beat it. I'm not going to spoil anything, but that is seriously the best game I've played all year. Hell it's pretty close to being the best game I've ever played. Only the Mass Effect series comes to mind that can even come close to the experience I've had playing this game.

Amazing story, amazing gameplay, just everything you want in a game. I have so much feels right now I can't even. :lol:
 
I must really suck at games. I just got into Pittsburgh.

Takes me forever to get around clickers. I never seem to have a shiv available.
