Anybody find that the "American Empire" on Civ5 is too aggressive?

I am comfortable in admitting that I have NEVER plaid Civilization as a pacifist.

Neither have I, wheres the fun in that. I will admit without shame that if I see another Civilization thats smaller or grossly under developed than me I immediately start thinking of how I can capture it.

Hell yeah! If they have deer that I don't I'll take 'em over and get it. Enemies can have dirt...nothing but dirt...no fish, no wheat, no grass....just dirt.

Oh, I usually start off pacifist, I build my forces, get my infrastructure in place, then I bulldoze the rest of the playing field. :)

They keep invading me...i've included a screenshot. Is it a bug?

LOLz.

Last Civ I played as 3, but Americans are I believe industrious and expansionist. Not a good combination for an enemy. I tended to like playing as them for those two reasons. They expand fast and build fast. Production on Americans always was higher then an of the other factions. End game cruise missile spam was always a fun tactic.
