App game recommendations

So I beat "Infinity Blade 2" and now I need some recommendations on some app games for the iPad to play.

I don't mind buying a game once, but I do mind having to regularly purchase things within the game. I also prefer single-player games than any multi-player games, though I can play games that have options for both.

Anyone have any suggestions?

I'd look up "rogue-like" for the app.

I have a copy on my iphone.

The game "Rogue" is pretty old (early 80's I believe) and is a ASCII based dungeon crawler though the copy I have has both the ASCII maps and an 8 bit top down play view.
 
If you want a pick up and play game, I recommend Plants vs Zombies.

If you want something more substantial, they made a Baldur's Gate for tablets.
 
I don't know if they have it for iPhone, but I'm having fun with "A Bard's Tale" on my Asus Tablet. It has optimized graphics for the Nvidia Tegra3 and it looks great. The ribald humor in the game is a hoot.
