Western theme RPG

By "western" I'm talking American west....cowboys and indians stuff.

Does anybody know of a decent RPG along these lines? If there isn't one is there any interest in such a thing?
 
Though not "true" RPGs, the closest I can imagine are the first 2 call of juarez games. Also red dead redemption.

There are several very good "wild west-ish" type games but fall outside of the cowboys/indians and specifically the american west. Everything from the Fallout PC games to Wild Arms series on consoles.

Red Dead redemption
 
I can't stand the graphical style-- too reminscent of Minecraft-- but I've heard good things about The Real Texas. Might want to check it out.

Definitely, and I will say Luther, don't get discouraged by the first few hours, there's a some particular missions at the beginning that teach you how to heard cattle, the mechanics are not particularly well done on those parts and can get frustrating, but once you do it, it's done forever.

Think Grand Theft Auto in the Wild West, the story is rich, interesting and engaging, the graphics are superb, there are sections that are photo-realistic.

All in all Red Dead Redemption is one of the best games I have ever played and I highly recommend it.

Ya, Rockstar really pulled a great F you on that one. I still haven't figured out why they haven't ported it over.

If you get emulators/roms or have access to a ps2 at least there is wild arms 3(most westernish of the wild arms series IMO) and red dead revolver(prequel to red dead redemption.).
 
Not an RPG,. but there was a classic 4X game called Spaceward Ho that had a hilarious western theme.
