Anyone playing ? and what do you think

I'm not playing it, but I'm curious if anyone here actually is. I'd love to know if it's as stupid as it looks. Because it looks REALLY stupid.

Playing it, favorite expansion yet. I dig the Asian aesthetic and music style, I dislike the "streamlined" (read: dumbed down) talent system. I just hit 90, I've done every quest in every area but the last, every daily once, and got that cool flying disc mount. Seems like there is far more endgame content, and the dailies are enjoyable quests.

Many new interesting quest ideas, but very many of the old kill X, loot X, click on X or escort X quests. At least now you get far more trinkets while leveling, many with interesting effects. Also quests reward you with far more toys, which I collect. My current favorite is the mask that makes nearby critters explode, with honorable mention to the puntable marmot.

Hey, I kinda liked "Kung Fu Panda, the movie", but this just seems awfully silly.

I guess jaded Warcraft players looking for something different....

I'm playing it and enjoying it. Each expansion adds new/better features.

I'm curious to see where there going with no central bad guy (like cataclysm and wrath) but I'm a pvper so I like the horde vs alliance angle.

I don't see pandas as any more ridiculous than Taurens.

I like how they try to make quest rewards relevant instead of say a warrior and getting caster gear as a reward in previous expansions.

I also like how they got rid of most "filler" talents and just made them passive. Now you can get some abilities in any spec that you couldn't before.

I also like the scenarios. I have been getting near instant queues on those and the dungeons seem to be shorter and more focused which I also like.

I quit WoW again a few weeks before Mists.

I was leveling a discipline priest in the weeks coming up to Mists. I don't know what that talent system is like now, but leveling as disc, I was tanking instances and was usually top DPS...and this was on a new server, so I had no heirlooms. It literally was a joke. Had glyphs that lowered cooldown on penance and made holy fire insta, and they lowered the cast time on smite. What I was doing in instances was redonkulous, and I was outhealing bosses just through "smart healing". I was afraid MoP was going to ruin the game, considering the fact that instance bosses were getting tanked by a clothie who was spamming DPS spells and being healed through more than they could dish.

Of course, I rerolled on my friend's server because I had heard that shadow priests were about to become wrecking balls in PvP. Too bad I left before finding out if that was true.

I will have my 3rd 90 today...I wasnt even going to buy the expansion...but Im pleasantly surprised. Mysts is well done and vast...they made it large and they got us out of Orgrimar and Stormwind thank god..would have been nice to have a shared sanctuary city again...but the two new are good enough. Im liking it.....they need to balance the toons out...pvp is still unbalanced badly...

Disc priests took a nerf in MOP...need to be shadow to lvl ...my understanding is holy is the healing spec to have now...what was op in cata is not in mop...BM hunters are brutally op in mop...rogues got nerfed to the bone...Wars and dks are op...mages are absurd and need a HUGE nerf...

Warriors are bosses at the beginning of every expac, for about 6 months. Usually somewhere between 3 and 6 months later, Blizzard throws in a hotfix that nerfs them into total uselessness. My main before I quit was a rogue and I heard that they were about to get gutted.

Kinda interested to see what they did to mages though, at least find out which spec is op. I wish they would make arcane viable in PvP. That may make me come back.

I guess I've been missing out on this BM Hunter OP'ness. I'm head to toe in heroic gear and did less dps on the headless horseman than my monk did at 89 in a mix of quest blues and greens. It wasn't just a small difference either, I'm talking 5000-6000 dps difference. They have nice burst but the sustained dps was terrible.

I primarily play the monk now that he is 90.

I'm against hunters anyway. They seem to attract the dimmer bulbs in WoW.
