I don't know what posting reams and reams on current child rape is supposed to achieve, seeing how it isn't even remotely disputed.

The salient issue here is the dishonest allegation that rape is a post-apartheid phenomenon and never happened under that disgusting regime. Better said is a "black government" issue and never was a "white government" issue.

The previously made accusation of anyone here defending the right to steal, kill and rape is as blatant a lie as is the allegation of any "goes round comes round" allegory having even remotely pertained to murder and rape (any reader who has English will recognize the true context).

As such we have evidence of the OP habitually resorting to lies alone in this particular instance.

As far as her bigotry and racism is concerned, one need only regard her frequent white-washing (pun intended) of the former apartheid regime in conjunction with her condemnations of the "black" government that now governs ZA (however badly).

As mentioned before "no thanks" to anyone so ignorant and dishonest being an educator on anything to anybody.

You are dishonest, because you know although rape occurred the phenomenon of South Africa BEING the rape capital AND 41% of those committed on children is due to post Apartheid State failure. The break down of law and order. One of Apartheids biggest problems was that it was oppressive, too much law enforcement, but it protected children.... today they join #MeToo

More so when spreading the lie that crimes of today did not happen to today's extent under white rule, while it is public knowledge that crimes happened to a far larger extent under white rule and were in fact largely committed by just that white government.

That makes one a racist and completely negates any claim to the contrary.

White South Africans faced their crimes in the two years of Truth and Reconciliation Commission.... again this book lists all the crimes of apartheid

White South Africans have been held accountable for 40 years of Apartheid, but now the ANC must stand, the crimes of apartheid pales in comparison to what the ANC have done in ONLY 20 years. Not even a fraction of White South Africans was held accountable for crimes committed under apartheid and those crimes actually documented statistically do not make up even a fraction of the real number either. The crimes of apartheid do NOT pale in comparison to (over) 20 years of ANC government since apartheid ended, however that incompetent and corrupt that government may show as being and actually does (show).

South Africa is far from being destroyed and that goes for its people as well.

People like me did not force the transition, it was forced by internal strife, fed by a criminal, racist and otherwise totally incompetent government, rapidly boiling towards explosion. With a less insane Boer like de Klerk finally seeing the light and calling for rights of ZA's 80 pct majority (that had been denied those rights for decades) to be returned. By agreeing on democratic elections, something unheard of in the preceding years.

If one wants to call the "transition period" of 4 years too short, that's their thing. Even where I find that assessment to be rather silly.

If anyone is to be judged and held accountable here, it's people like the OP who supported the apartheid regime, be that actively or via passive support. And those still doing it today.

:lol: I dare you to read it Chagos, I've read it, it's sad and confronting but Apartheid left behind a highly industrialised country with a first world health system and sophisticated infrastructure.... they gave the ANC the keys to the Ferrari and they smashed it... condemning all South Africans in the process, the most vulnerable suffering the most. of course people like you just make their suffering worse... you deny their pain, their rape their loss, you deny any form of compensation or justice because you deny the crimes committed against them....

I've never claimed there having been no Boers among activists opposing apartheid. I've met some of them myself.

And that the name Antje Krog is not English is something even the blind can feel with their stick.

Takes nothing from the fact that the OP citing her in supposed support of White Supremacist stance held, is utterly futile and in fact pretty sad.
 
As a new member, I know that I have to be careful about what I say.

So I will refrain from expressing my emotions about what is happening there. I will only express the deepest wish that the United States, Australia, and Russia do everything possible to get those farmers out of South Africa alive and resettled in those three countries.

world has, save Russia. (Australia is just making political hay out of it...they have taken no one.)
