But WAIT! Israel NEVER does anything wrong!!!!! We MUST keep sending them billions of taxpayer dollars every year - because they're FAR more important than paying the people who teach our kids or take care of our elderly parents!

Make no mistake. Israel is a hyper racist ethnocentric state. They give anyone with a Jewish grandparent free citizenship so they can move them into disputed territory and bolster their claim to it, while actively minimizing the number of non-ethnic Jews allowed to enter and stay.

For them their humanity revolves solely around ethnicity and religion and as such are completely incompatible with our values. They shouldn't be getting a dime of aid from us.

Israel is a teeny-tiny state, far too small to accommodate the number of people who want to immigrate. They're not forcibly sterilizing anyone -- they're saying, if you'd like to come here, in exchange you have to agree not to breed until you can support the children you breed.

The alternative is to just close off all immigration.

I understand why folks nearby want to go to Israel, but not everyone's going to fit.

How would you handle that situation?

Except at the same exact time they're giving anyone with even a drop of Jewish blood instant citizenship and relocation services. They've got room for ages if it means bolstering their ethnic majority. They're waging a racial and religious war, it's not about practicality or the quality or skills of their immigrants. They'll take an illiterate Ukrainian Jew over an Ethiopian engineer or doctor every single time. They do not put reproductive restrictions on newly immigrated Jews.

That's not actually how that works. Not "a drop." They have to have a Jewish grandparent to qualify for the Law of Return.

I already stated that it requires a "Jewish" grandparent which is a totally meaningless requirement equivalent to a drop of Jewish genetic heritage. The problem is those immigrants are not considered for their worthiness, self support ability, nor are their reproductive rights micromanaged by the state. Non-Jewish immigrants are treated dramatically different and none of the above applies. Overcrowding in Israel isn't an issue if the issue is purely dependent on the immigrants' race. A nation of 7 million people, with as many as 9 different political parties in representation, will not act as a monolith, and will act in the same manner of every country, warts and all.

It is crowded, or it will be if everyone who wants to go there is allowed in. You know how small the state is -- it can't hold everyone and I don't see any reason why Israel should not be allowed to choose whomever they want as citizens. They want a state whereby mostly ethnic Jewish descendants live. There's nothing wrong with that.

Israel has every right to choose whom is allowed to immigrate and on what basis. Just as we in the US cannot swarm into Native American reservation land and force the ethnic residents there to accept and accommodate us. Native Americans, being sovereign, is almost identical in cultural makeup as Israel. They're not being fascist when they move to protect their ethnic heritage.

Yes, all of that. Plus, they are a very important strategic ally in the Middle East region.

The sad thing is -- they are very small, geographically speaking, nation-state and they simply don't have room for everyone who wants to live there.

They're not forcing anyone to take hormonal birth control, they're giving them that option if they want to immigrate.

See, at least you have the gumption to come out and plainly state you support government run ethnocentrism. You started off talking about how crowded it is, how some immigrants can't support themselves and how they need quality immigrants, but once it was pointed out none of those requirements apply to any of the some hundred million people world wide with a single "Jewish" grandparent you changed it to "Their government can choose whomever they want, even based in race". They can be illiterate and incapable of supporting themselves but race matters more to them than practicality.

I assume you'd be totally on board if the US government declared the US an ethnically white Christian state, gave free citizenship and generous benefits to any white Christian immigrants from all over the world, while applying different rules to minorities including state coerced birth control.

The African immigrants are coming in penniless and are still being permitted, as long as they refrain from breeding until they're able to support the children they breed. How can you find fault with that?

Israel has gained no land after the expansion during the '67 war. The land they gained at that time was gained rightfully and belongs now to Israel. The neighboring terrorists should have considered that before they planned their concerted goal of driving all the Jews out.

That land belongs to Israel fair and square and the terrorists are just going to have to accept that. The borders have not changed in 60 years.

I didn't say you couldn't vacation there -- but did your family attempt to buy the land? You could also have been traveling through non-reservation land. Not all Native Americans live on reservations after all.

The borders have not changed in more than 60 years. The "disputed" land is inside the post-67 borders. Arabs want it back but Israel won it fair and square. No land has been expanded upon since 1967. That's a fact. It's just that some keep saying the disputed land is Arab land, but it is not. You are at least consistent in the Native American thing, but you're still off-base on the Israel thing.

They were established as an ethnic state, with full permission and encouragement by the world. To expect them to give that all up now simply won't fly. I shouldn't call all Palestinians "terrorists," you're right about that, but when Gazans elected a terrorist organization to lead them, they became terrorists. The PLA is better and they are getting along much better with Israel. Plus, other Arab nations are beginning to see Israel in a better light and accept that Israel can be a benefit and a friend in that region. Egypt's come a long way, as has Jordan.
