That's a senseless response to what you quoted.

Put emotions aside, I say.....and use logic.

Just look how she's vilified by this - your OP calls her IMMORAL! She's automatically labeled. Her reputation in shreds.
The lady can't even defend herself.
Lady? Hardly. I wouldn't call McCorvey a lady. I didn't think much of her before this story came out, and the possibility of her being paid by the anti-choice side really doesn't surprise me.

I'm sure you wish it is in trouble. That doesn't mean it's true.

She carried and delivered her second child - and had the child adopted.

    She delivered two babies.
It was with her third child that she seemed to have been influenced by friends in Dallas into having an abortion!

So you mean she was a troubled homeless woman who was then given money to pretend to be pro-life, yes, it is indeed disgusting from the pro-life movement to misuse her for financial gain.

    On the other hand.....

Roe is an icon! That's the big difference here!

And yet....McCorvey only got more or less $450,000 for all those years!
Boy - that's peanuts! She could've demanded MILLIONS!

What I find hypocritical is that............................

.......................... pro-choce people would make such a big deal out of her receiving some money from the pro-life groups.
Yeah, more BS I see, the issue is that Roe could have been any woman because she is "every woman" who was ever denied an abortion. And your point is she could have asked more

Her past was troubled. There's got to be some psychological problems involved there.

As for being "mis-used," she said it was mutual. Sorta like a "marriage of convenience?"

"I think it was a mutual thing," McCorvey says. "I took their money, and they took me out in front of the cameras and told me what to say. That's what I'd say."

In other words, she did the promo for pro-life! She got paid for it! What's the big deal? Think of it as something like this:

Being a pro-choice yourself, I understand you being quite miffed about her doing that activism for the pro-life, and getting paid for it.
    But really, that's hypocritical!

Just because she's a lesbian doesn't mean she's not entitled to some renumerations just like any celebrities or actors promoting a product!

Like I said, what is $450, 000 for two decades of activism/promotion compared to Chelsea Clinton getting $65,000 a shot!
Boy - In comparison to the ICONIC ROE, tell me........WHAT MAKES CHELSEA CLINTON WORTHY OF SUCH A PRICE TAG?

Let's face it. If you want to talk about misusing and exploitation................ The people that had USED AND EXPLOITED the circumstances of McCorvey, were the lawyers challenging the anti-abortion laws!

Eventually, McCorvey was referred to attorneys Linda Coffee and Sarah Weddington,[22][23] who were looking for pregnant women who were seeking abortions.

The case took three years of trials to reach the Supreme Court of the United States, and McCorvey never attended a single trial.

In the meantime, she gave birth to the baby and placed it for adoption.[2] Soon after, she met and began a long-term relationship with Connie Gonzales.[8]

From what her bio implies, McCorvey was someone who was easily influenced.

    How about giving................... actual evidence?

    Shouting it from the rooftops?

You do know that she was dying at the time - if indeed true, that's why it was supposed to be her "deathbed confession?" Right?

    Why.......can't you explain?
Good Lord, it isn't hard to understand. If pro choicers were paying her to "switch", then they'd have paid her to do more than just one interview. If she was truly on her deathbed, what were here motives? Money? She had no need for it at that point, if death were iminent.

She did not have an abortion. She gave birth each time she was pregnant - and didn't parent any of her children.

And if the pro-life movement used her to gain loads of support/financial gain and much much more fake influence based on her paid for "conversion" to pro-life, it is completely on them. They committed the immoral act to pretend to be morally upstanding.

And again, this is not about Chelsea Clinton, that is just pathetic to compare the presidents daughter's speeches for which she gets paid with the pro-life movement's despicable acts to pay someone for falsely testifying to something. Chelsea Clinton just makes a speech.

    Too naive.

Not necessarily! Maybe....they wanted to exploit her "dying" days!

Just look how they're trying to market the docu: DEATHBED CONFESSION!

If she was truly on her deathbed, what were here motives? Money? She had no need for it at that point, if death were iminent.
How do you now she had no need of money?
Some people all the more needs lots of money when they know they're dying!
Some want to leave their family with money. Some people want to live it up til the end!

The activists on both sides who knew her found her charming — and found her maddening. She rewrote stories into fantasies. She could be mercenary, and always needed money. Maybe the best word for her was “survivor,” multiple people decided independently. After a rough life, she’d now do whatever it took to survive. At one point in the FX documentary, she chuckles that she’s always “looking out for Norma’s salvation and Norma’s [butt].”

Like I've said, she could've had psychological problems! Thus I question her state of mind, too.
