Norma McCorvey aka Jane Doe was paid by evangelicals to pretend she was anti-abortion

She has no credibility regarding her actual feelings. I doubt she would lie about her being paid, but she is perfectly capable of lieing to herself about her "true" feelings at the time. As an emotionally needy person, who also failed in her long-term lesbian relationship, its impossible to know what she felt.

She left this world having alienated both sides of the controversy. And, I might add, whoever paid her will have also earned their share of disgust.

Yeah yeah, when she was a paragon for the pro-life movement she was believable but when she says that she was not telling the truth about that she is suddenly not telling the truth.

And you are right, whoever paid her is even worse than she was. They knew she was poverty stricken in the past/homeless/confused about her sexuality (from what I read here) and was an easy target for sly pro-lifers.

You do know that a prostitute is someone who does sex acts for money? And yes, that is the definition of prostitute. So no, what you are claiming is by definition not a prostitute, literally. And I did educate myself and now I get the pleasure of educating you. About the definition of prostitute. About how you are wrong to say I need to educate myself when you are wrong about the definition of prostitution and thirdly for educating you about what an epic failure Trump is for women's rights to choose and about his pathetic covid response.

Another liberal who doesnt know how to use a dictionary  And your pathetic country has a higher covid death rate than the US. Like I said, educate yourself and stop posting garbage.

Another liberal who doesnt know how to use a dictionary  And your pathetic country has a higher covid death rate than the US. Like I said, educate yourself and stop posting garbage.

I used the Oxford Dictionary and it still said person who have sex for money. So there is that.

And no, my country's rate is falling (even though we are a much more populated country) while yours is still going up. And that it is going upwards is largely the fault of the Orange Oaf and his political party. And of course the fools who believe the president by protesting lockdowns and going partying on the beach etc.

For example, we have had 78 dead in the past 4 days and 577 new infections. Our intensive care unites have 275 patients.

The US on the other hand had 4,823 deaths and 84,950 new infections. The US has 17,815 patients on intensive care units.

That means the death rate in the Netherlands has gone up 4.5 cases per million. The death rate in the US has gone up 14.6 cases per million. So the US is more than 3 times worse off in the past 4 days. And that disparity is growing on a daily basis.

It also means that the Netherlands, per 1 million citizens, the infection rate has gone up 34 cases in 4 days. The US infection rate has gone up (per 1 million citizens) 257 cases in 4 days. And that is adjusted for size of population only.

Face the fact man, prostitutes have sex for money and the Netherlands is doing just fine when it comes to corona and to protect our community and economy. Because our unemployment figure is at 3.4%. And our society is being opened up in an intelligent manner in accordance with facts/statistics and the guidance of the infectious disease experts, due to the Orange Clown and his followers in government, none of those things are happening in most US states. Some states do do their best but most republican lead states have just surrendered their population on the sacrificial economic table of Donald Trump and his re-election campaign.

But in these times abortion is even more important for women/families. With these uncertain times women might choose for security and safety for their current family and abort the ZEF in an early stage. A lot of families cannot afford another mouth to feed, clothe and clean. And for that reason abortion providers should be open for business.

The documentary, 'aka Jane Roe' is on FX right now if anyone is interested.

In a deathbed confession Jane Doe admitted to receiving hundreds of thousands of dollars to pretend she was against abortion. She says it was all an act for money.

Wow, just wow, it shows that McCorvey was doing something immoral for which she was paid to do by more immoral people, what a sham.

How do we know she wasn't paid to switch her story again this time around? What a low life.

She would have done more than give just one interview. She'd have been shouting it from the rooftops like she did for the anti choice side.

How convenient. The lady isn't available to make clarifications - to deny to confirm!
Just look how she's vilified by this - your OP calls her IMMORAL! She's automatically labeled. Her reputation in shreds.
The lady can't even defend herself.

New Film Says Norma McCorvey Pretended to be Pro-Life for Money, Fr. Pavone Contradicts Claim

Fr. Pavone’s full tweet reads, “So abortion supporters are claiming Norma McCorvey, the Jane Roe of Roe v. Wade, wasn’t sincere in her conversion. / She was. / I was her spiritual guide for 22 years, received her into the Catholic Church, kept regular contact, spoke with her the day she died, and conducted her funeral.”

“So when Norma McCorvey, whom I knew closely for 22 years, was in the pro-abortion movement, she told their leaders she thought abortion was wrong! And when working in abortion clinics, she talked women out of abortion. She was against abortion well before joining the pro-life movement!”

Assuming this alleged confession by her is legit (that she wasn't tricked or her statements were not fabricated and put in her mouth)......
her credibility is gone.

If she lied for money before, she can do the same again.

Anyway.............

What makes you think she wasn't paid instead........

.......................................to lie and do that alleged deathbed "confession?"

So then add prostitute to her list of lifetime achievements?

The prolife PROCHOICE propaganda movement is well-organized and funded, with their carefully rehearsed lies that they repeat again and again. So this latest revelation angers me but does not surprise me.

Just look at this documentary as an example.

They've also got Hollywood backing them up. Hard to fight the Hollywood propaganda machine.

One tell-tale sign about the emergence of this documentary:

RvW must be in trouble. :)

I'm not surprised at all.

How's that? Explain please.

Just read what Christians post on this very board. No one should be surprised by what some of them do in their personal lives.

It's disgusting.

Indeed.

A christian supporting the murder (of innocents, to boot) - and actively promoting and abetting it on this very board -
directly challenges and opposes his God.

it's literally funny (well, if people weren't actually dying) that some Christians and fake Christian Republicans view these COVID deaths as stats while viewing other stuff as real deaths.

bunch of frigging liars and fakes.

No, it isn't, Roe v. Wade is the possible victim of what the pro-life and conservative whiners in power have been complaining about for decades: activist judges and asswipe politicians.

Just more proof that religious zealots and especially evangelicals are a cancer on American society.

Eh? Why'd you branch off and got into COVID?

It's pretty self explanatory.

I'm a dummy - don't get what you mean when you said this:

What about giving more than one interview? Lol.
How about giving................... actual evidence?

Shouting it from the rooftops?

You do know that she was dying at the time - if indeed true, that's why it was supposed to be her "deathbed confession?" Right?

Why.......can't you explain?

Did you read her bio (her early life)? She was a very troubled person.

Furthermore, why did her mom had to trick her into signing the adoption paper if she didn't want anything to do with her child, Melissa?
She carried and delivered her second child - and had the child adopted.

She delivered two babies.
It was with her third child that she seemed to have been influenced by friends in Dallas into having an abortion!

People get paid for speaking engagements, or for doing promos. Her name and photos were being used.
Chelsea Clinton's speaking engagement fee is $65,000 a pop! What makes her worth that much?

On the other hand.....

Roe is an icon! That's the big difference here!

And yet....McCorvey only got more or less $450,000 for all those years!
Boy - that's peanuts! She could've demanded MILLIONS!

What I find hypocritical is that............................

.......................... pro-choce people would make such a big deal out of her receiving some money from the pro-life groups.

Why?

I'd say that her conversion to Christianity has indeed more truth to it. Which is consistent with her change towards pro-life. Why do I say that?
Because she seemed to have struggled with.............. and finally managed to throw away her homosexual lifestyle!

Personal life and death

As Roe v. Wade made its way through the courts, McCorvey began a relationship with Connie Gonzalez.[8]
They lived together in Dallas for 35 years.[2]
After converting to Christianity, McCorvey continued to live with Gonzalez, though she described their relationship as platonic.

[8] Later in life, McCorvey stated that she was no longer a lesbian.[41]

McCorvey moved out of the house she shared with Gonzalez in 2006, shortly after Gonzalez suffered a stroke.[8]

McCorvey died of heart failure in Katy, Texas, on February 18, 2017, at the age of 69.

If her conversion to Christianity is not sincere, how could she have done what she did?

They'd lived together for 35 years - it isn't that easy to walk away from someone you've been with for that long.

She'd led a very troubled life. Who knows her state of mind during those final years, which culminated in her so-called "deathbed confession?"

For all we know - she could've had TDS!

Included in the documentary also are scenes from the presidential election night in 2016, depicting McCorvey’s disappointment as Democrat Hillary Clinton lost to Donald Trump.

“I wish I knew how many abortions Donald Trump was responsible for,” she quipped in the scene. “I’m sure he’s lost count, if he can count that high.”
