You should really reconsider trying to reference either logic or common sense.

What brought more abortion was a combination of things, primarily amongst them population growth and demographic shifts.

Every single rational adult wants to legalize drugs, because making them illegal creates mafias, gang warfare and extra-legal contract 'enforcement'.

The only thing you want to feed are gangs, triads, mafias and misery.

You are wrong: by far most women choose to have their babies and the abortion rate goes down every year.

Nah, under Roe v. Wade, abortion is not murder.

There's always going to be abortion, for the foreseeable future, due to health reasons.

If you want to reduce abortion to the minimum, sex education should be comprehensive & offered to anyone who is sexually active. & access to birth control devices, medications, etc. should be made universal - within age & health limits - to include an understanding of what raising a child entails.

And as we all know, having drugs being illegal has resulted in no one using them and demand for them going down. It also hasn't resulted in a violent black market at all.

The right only really wants stupid voters and cannon fodder.

Yes, we hear about keeping abortion safe, legal and available. And why should it not be legal? Because you think differently? Well that isn't a good enough reason to deny women the right to choose what happens in and to her body.

And then we get the normal ridiculous pro-life lies. You know, abortion is murder, the evil democrats, the evil baby killing women, etc. etc. etc.

Logic and common sense are very much in the democrat's wheelhouse when it comes to birth control/abortion and it is the pro-life extremist lot who do not have any logic and they have also no common sense because that has been replaced by their (usually) religiously fueled hatred of women having the right to choose.

Only about 1 percent of US women give their newborn up for adoption.

The rest keep their newborns. If the woman needs financial help from the state, that means lots of state welfare dollars are needed for programs for food, housing, and medical costs.
