How about stealing money from a kids cancer charity. It may not be the womb, but it's close enough...

so theft (assuming there was a real theft)

is on the same level of egregiousness as murder?

hmmmmm

well, maybe to some

It's this kind of excuse making that drags people into the gutter.

Maybe, maybe not. What it does show is how the republican party actually feels about special needs or disables folks. Let's make fun of them. Sad.

I don't recall the whole R party doing what Trump did

and why do Ds always make a big issue out of words and gestures and "making fun of"

while accepting murder?

There is actually no evidence that Trump ever made fun of a disabled person. The arm-waving thing he did had nothing to do with the reporter's disability, which restricted his ability to move.

Here we have another one of those crazy myths that doesn't die, in spite of having no evidence.

And I doubt Trump is an anti-abortion fanatic, by the way.

Abortion is not murder. Murder is illegal. Learn English please.

Tell me please, why should a bundle of cells have more rights than an adult woman? All I can tell you is don't get an abortion and stop trying to jam your religion down our throats.

Yes he was just moving is arms in a way a disabled person would. You trump apologists me sick that you defend his actions. Trump apologists really are good for nothing.

Considering the way I've heard Trump brag about his sexual prowess for the past 30 years, I wouldn't doubt there's been at least a few abortions that he has paid for. Trump has no religion, he's a godless, self-serving creature.

Wow, it's on film for anyone to see and yet you deny there is no proof. Now I understand alternate facts.

1. Trump did not "make fun of the disabled person." He made fun of a person who wrote negatively of him via use of the same motions he'd previously used on several "non-disabled" persons.

2. While I support a person's right to choose, I also hold to the SCOTUS limits against abortions in the 3rd trimester absent threat to the mother's life. I do because IMO that is when the developing entity is likely a "human being."

3. Prior to that period? I accept that it is only in the process of human development, thus not a "human being" with the right to life, liberty, etc. The closer to conception, the less likely a "human being."

Moderator's Warning:
Threads about abortion go in the Abortion section.

I don't think Trump meant to make fun of the guy's disability. I think he was just impersonating exactly what he saw. It came off poorly, but I guarantee the President wasn't intending his mocking to be about this persons disability. If you hate Trump you will disagree with me. I don't hate Trump so I feel my observations are more pure and not clouded.

Got an example of that guy doing those contortions while mocking someone who wasn't disabled?
I mean, if he did it would still be so juvenile, so friggin' schoolyard It's cringe-worthy when the President of the United States do it, but I'd like to see your example.
Just curious, what's your personal opinion of that episode? When you watch that, do you approve?

He was mocking like a bratty bully in the schoolyard. That's your Dear Leader, a schoolyard bully with a global stage and real power to 'get back' at anyone he sees as not behind him.
How do you feel when you watch that? Proud?

I am NOT against abortion, if it's early. But calling an embryo a "bundle of cells" is an ignorant and disgusting statement. That kind of statement does nothing to help protect abortion rights. Just the opposite. It stirs up even more hatred for your cause.

In a way that a disabled person would?? The disabled person he supposedly made fun of didn't move his arms that way. So where is the logic? There isn't any. It's just another stupid myth that won't die.

And I never even liked Trump. I defend him because the attacks against him are often insane.

Wow, it's on film for anyone to see and yet you deny there is no proof. Now I understand alternate facts.

There is proof that Trump waved his arms around. There is no proof that he was imitating the disabled reporter.

A refreshing change. A "leftist" using logic instead of raging emotion.

Wow. Trump must have REALLY broke you people.

Obviously he wasn't making fun of a disability. Seen through the eyes of someone who hates him passionately and is constantly looking for more reasons to hate him, maybe it seemed that way. But even then, it's hard to understand.

My cause is women have the choice to do what they wish and not be dictated to by someone who doesn't even know her. Call it what you wish, embryo, fetus, cluster of cells whatever. What it isn't is a baby.

I'm a guy and old, I doubt I will be having an abortion anytime in the near future. I just don't like the idea of a woman having no choice because of folks like you.
