Can you imagine prosecuting a Mafia hit man, yet not the Don who ordered the hit?

Can you imagine prosecuting members of the Manson "family" who slaughtered Sharon Tate, et al, yet not Manson himself who ordered the murders?

Probably not. Yet it's pretty common among members of the pro-life movement who think abortion should be a crime to say they would only prosecute the doctors who perform them, not the woman who seeks the abortion in the first place.

Think about that for a moment. There is a word for these people: moral hypocrite.

It's pretty crystal-clear, though, what this is all about. Pro-lifers are smart enough to realize the horrible optics of young women being led away in handcuffs. Even though without these young women getting pregnant in the first place and wanting an abortion, there'd be nothing for the doctor to abort.
