over 45 million babies murdered in the name of "choice".

Re: History clears its throat

George Washington had a vision from God for the future of the United States of America. Not joking.
Our first president was a Christian and I think that speaks for itself.

That nobody's perfect?

To all my disillusioned democrats,

Iron, need I point out to you that there are many republicans that support choice? And likewise there are democrats who support the pro-life position. You might want to try a different brush than the broad one you've been using.

Re: History clears its throat

That nobody's perfect?

No, that our first president was a God fearing man. It's important to make this distinction because it speaks to the deep roots of the Christian faith at the time of our nations founding.

planned parent hood and the radical feminists have women believing that the unborn baby is not really a baby until it comes out of the mother.
so, thank you for wiping out a big segment of my generation and the ones after that.

Do you believe that a woman should be required to carry a pregnancy from a rape?

If NOT then she can abort the pregnancy basically because the pregnancy is unwanted.

An unwanted pregnancy if it be rape or consensual is basically the same thing, undesired and a choice.

Do you want to remove the choice because god had destined the woman to be pregnant or basically is gods will?

Re: Not the one, nor the other

Only a moron would believe that image represents a fetus in the first trimester of pregnancy.

If I remember correctly, New York state has recently passed a law making late term abortions legal. So the meme stands. Just for reference sake, here is a miscarried baby at 14 weeks (so sad):

Another post of yours and another failure

It factually is not. Baby is a given stage of development. The entity is not a baby before that stage nor is it a baby after that stage. Do you have anything besides an appeal to emotionalism fallacy?

baby is a colloquial term. nearly everyone except radical pro-abortionists consider the unborn to be babies, in fact even left wing publications refer to the unborn as "babies" except when talking about abortion.

You’re the one with the extremist fringe minority.
Poll: More Americans support Roe v. Wade now than in past 4 decades
“77% of Americans say the Supreme Court should uphold Roe v. Wade in some form, according to an NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist Poll released on Tuesday.”

That the founders didn’t envision the 14th Amendment protecting a woman’s right of choice isn’t relevant today, SCOTUS’ ruling is.

that just means 77% of Americans need to be disenfranchised and the American Republic abolished and replaced with a divinely appointed King.

What a holy piece of propaganda **** this is.

If you actually believe that this pic represents what doctors are aborting to the sum of 45 million you need help.

We must all follow your interpretation from a shattered religion or what?

Follow or you will pursue me in the afterlife like some kind of Christmas Carol ghost?

LOOK how long my chains are for believing women should have a choice, arrrrrrrrrrrrr, clank, clank, moan, clank

I can see me now, hauntingly handsome, gravely charming and ever so spirted to do the bidding of a God I never believed in.

You should give some thought to changing your name to Iron Jerk as that better fits your posts.

How could you ever conceive of doing harm to a fetus? You people break my heart.

No it means 33% are wrong and they need to be disenfranchised and their American Rights abolished and replaced with the rights given to serfs who have no right to speak.

You are a prime candidate for a Jonestown membership. Be sure to bring the whole family, we wouldn't want you to go alone....

You are doing a lot of rambling. I mean seriously, how could you ever bring harm to a fetus? DISGUSTING!

Kind of difficult to look at the pictures, no? Imagine the doctor ripping this apart, limb from limb.

Absolutely. unfathomable.

You are a real piece of ________.

You want to impose your beliefs on everyone.

No one should have a choice to what they believe because yours is the only way.

Anyone who differs must be evil, vilified and singled out for disobedience.

Your not satisfied with stating your opinion or arguing your point, your only satisfied by claiming your superiority over everyone.

Re: Not the one, nor the other

I've heard it said that a picture is worth a thousand words. That may be true but showing the same picture over and over again is just repeating the same thousand words. Wordiness is not always persuasive and a lot of the times if you're using too many words it's an effort to hide behind ignorance. Just saying.

Not hard to look at.

Rip, shred, render limb from limb so be it.

In the end it is just medical waste.

I find this cruel, live puppies tortured to death with hot tar, by a sadistic conservative individual.

He and his friends couldn't get the tar to ignite like they had hope so they left the puppies to slowly die.

Conservative; holding to traditional attitudes and values and cautious about change or innovation, typically in relation to politics or religion.

Re: Not the one, nor the other

Iron-Merc posted fetal pictures and gestational ages are lies. None of those are 12 week old fetuses. Below are the medically accurate pictures of embryos their gestational age and their size up to 6 weeks.
Note a 6 week embryo is 10 mm long or 1 cm. In inches, a little under 1/2 inches. A 12 week fetus is less than 2 inches long not 3 or 4 as depicted by in Iron-Merc's photos.

Where do anti-abortion protesters get those grisly photos?

By BRIAN PALMER

Anti-abortion protestors hold placards as they demonstrate near the Senate office buildings.
Aaron Gouveia, a Massachusetts reporter, posted a video this week of his confrontation with anti-abortion protesters, who taunted his wife with graphic pictures of aborted fetuses. Aborted fetus pictures are also in the news in Washington, D.C., where long-shot congressional candidate Missy Reilly Smith is forcing local TV networks to air graphic anti-abortion campaign ads. Where do abortion protesters get their fetus pictures?

From dumpsters, among other places. For many years, a Madonna University professor named Monica Migliorino Miller supplied the anti-abortion movement with its imagery. As detailed by Damien Cave of the New York Times in 2009, Miller has recovered thousands of fetuses that were improperly disposed of from dumpsters outside of Midwestern health care facilities. She began photographing the fetuses in 1987.

In the late 1990s, a second major source emerged. The Center for Bio-Ethical Reform has compiled an extensive library of pictures and videos of fetuses and abortion procedures. (Note: some of the links in this article contain graphic images.) The center pays doctors and clinics to permit a contract photographer to enter the operating room and document the abortion. Selling access to an operating room is unheard of in the United States, so it’s very likely that the center’s images were all taken abroad. The center won’t say whether it obtains the patients’ consent to snap pictures.

The center distributes most of its high-resolution images to anti-abortion institutions like crisis pregnancy centers, but street protesters can order them as well. They just have to condemn violence as a tactic, agree not to alter the image, and pay between $3 and $89 to cover printing costs. (Digital images are free, and the center sometimes waives the fee upon request.) The most expensive version is 92 inches wide, 42 inches tall, and printed with weatherproof ink. Protesters have to provide their own stick for mounting. Many of the images include coins to indicate the size of the fetus, and versions with Canadian currency are available for Canuck protesters.

Re: Not the one, nor the other

Center for Bio-Ethical Reform - Wikipedia

The major supplier of falsely labeled fetal pictures to the anti-abortion movement.
Weaver, I think Iron is only using the pictures in a feeble attempt to persuade pro-choice advocates to abandon their position. Shock is seldom a convincing argument so I'm not sure why he would continuously use the tactic other than the possibility that he realizes his words have failed to achieve his objective.

Who cares? The fetus sure as hell doesn’t. It’s not even self-aware.

While I don't deny the use of the colloquial, and even engage in such myself, since we are discussing whether or not the termination of a entity at pre birth stages, the distinctions between the stages actually become important, and any use of the term "baby" is the use of an appeal to emotion fallacy. This is also why the distinction between human and being matters while the normal colloquial use of human at other times is fine.

We live in a constitutional representative republic, not a democracy. We protect the interests of smaller religious groups and minorities. So their voices get heard too. Defending the pro life position, we are acting in kind with our Founding Fathers true vision for the nation. So it is in fact, your point of view that is extremist and fringe.

Never did the framers of this nation, in a million years, ever think that someday the constitution would be interpreted to grant mothers legal abortion. Not even the framers of the 14th amendment, when it was written had nothing to do with abortion.

You do realize that abortion was legal when the Constitution was written, right?
