US fertility rate falls to 'all-time low,' CDC says

However, SCOTUS doesn't respond to day-to-day pressure

Wrong. What is or is not a right and to what extent a right can be exercised is determined entirely by SCOTUS. That is the practical reality.

Barring a civil war, a Constitutional amendment, & perhaps other unlikely events, that's qualifiedly true. The actual determination depends on the Constitution, & what the Supreme Court finds in precedents & legal history to support a majority holding.

Perhaps infertility is God adjusting his plan.

Begging the question?

Perhaps infertility is God adjusting his plan.

If God has all the attributes we routinely ascribe to Him, Would He need to adjust His plan?

I don't think so, unless He doesn't have all the attributes we ascribe. But what would that leave us with?

God does not have to explain anything to use.

I believe he has free will, does he not?;)

He being God? No, if it's God, & He has all the attributes we ordinarily assign Him, He doesn't merely have free will; His is the only will that matters.

Or did I misunderstand the content of catechism?

You do understand that my original comment was tongue and cheek.;)

I think God does not enter into any of this. How a person experiences God and religion is individual.

In terms of fertility rates lowering...I do not think this Earth has enough resources to keep up with the population - especially if it is growing.

If our fertility rates continue to decline and we become extinct...we will be just another species on earth to do so.

Now if we decide to take measures to prevent extinction - I am ok as long as there are consenting parties. No forced rape or unwanted medical procedures. If it came to forced medical procedures and rape (etc) I will pray for extinction.

Under his eye.

My question is where is the proof by pro-choice groups who claim we are too overly populated?

My question is where is the proof from anti-immigration groups who claim we are over populated????

I haven't spoken to every pro-choice 'group' but I've heard it more as a woman controlling when in her life she cares for a baby, not so much to keep elbow room on the subway... :peace
