[W:94]21 Quotes from the Founder of Planned Parenthood, that will Make You Sick

Re: 21 Quotes from the Founder of Planned Parenthood, that will Make You Sick

Nordham said in his plan the baby would be stabilized and then Dr. Death and the mother would discuss the possibility of executing it.

One of the most ignorant posts I have seen in quite a long time.

Re: 21 Quotes from the Founder of Planned Parenthood, that will Make You Sick

Health workers stopped feeding her and refused to let her parents feed her, effecting her death after nearly 2 weeks of slow torturous starvation. That was cruel and unusual execution if ever there was such a thing.

They removed a feeding tube, which is tantamount to artificial life support. She didn't feel anything, her brain was pretty much mush.

Re: Lighting a candle

What provisions are included in Nordham's proposed 'kill the fetus after it is born alive' law to insure us that no viable babies will be murdered by bloodthirsty abortionists wanting to finish the baby off instead of allowing it to live after it comes out of the womb alive?

EML has no place in the debate.

Please provide a link to a quote of him saying that.

The way to refute the claim is by producing persuasive facts and arguments, not summary dismissal.

She did not feel the effects of slow starvation? How do you know that if you claim she could not communicate? Should we therefore conclude that patients in a coma need to be slowly starved to death because they are just vegetables anyway?

We know by the state of her brain at autopsy.

God needs no defense. Those opposing God are in need of serious defense.

You don't have a leg to stand on if you condone the massing killing of firstborns yet, show manufactured outrage over a late term abortion.

When you post blatant lies like this its what makes honest, educated objective people right, left and center mock your posted lies and not take your posts seriously :lamo

The proposed bill came out of the VA legislature. TMK, VA Gov. Nordham - as is usual in our form of government - doesn't propose laws directly. That's not his function, that's what the legislature is for.

That bill is moot - it didn't pass. I haven't looked up the proposed bill to see exactly what it contained.

bloodthirsty abortionists - As I recall, there are only four (4) obstetric surgeons in the US who are trained & licensed for late third-trimester abortions - it's a rare procedure, & only carried out for therapeutic reasons. The fetus is always in distress, dying or dead, & the health/life of the woman is in danger.

Clearing the air

Nordham did not specify that his proposal to end the life of babies after birth would always depend on a certain degree of deformity, handicap, or other condition he considered not worth saving alive.

Yah, VA Gov. & pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Nordham was talking about an existing protocol for late third-trimester abortion. Apparently he knows of the protocol, whether from participating as a consulting doctor - see his specialization - or from the literature. I don't remember that he said one way or the other. Late third-trimester abortions are rare, because they're difficult & dangerous; the fetus is always in distress, dying or dead (& the fetal prognosis is always fatal), & the woman's health/life is in danger.

It's not necessary to kill the fetus/baby - see the above paragraph. Palliative care is recommended, the baby (if he/she's born alive) lives briefly, & dies without any further medical intervention.

Also, the proposed VA bill was not his proposal - it came out of the VA legislature - which is where VA bills typically originate.

Re: 21 Quotes from the Founder of Planned Parenthood, that will Make You Sick

I am taking specific issue with Dr. Kervorkian Nordham's suggestion that born alive babies should still be executed if that is what the doctor and mother determine is best. You can create all sorts of different scenarios but I am not talking about scenarios. I am talking about specific wording of laws and what those laws actually mean, not what people may think they could possibly mean.

Does Governor Dr. Death's proposal allow for the termination of any living baby outside the womb for any reason? If so, we need to discuss every possible scenario and see if the law limits itself to only a few scenarios, and we need to discuss the legitimacy and morality of various proposed scenarios.

Actually, I’m quite sure he was thinking of tiny preemies born in hospitals ( since there are no born alive babies in a completed abortion attempt anymore. )

He never said anything about termination he said discussion with the mother ( discussion means to let her know the total
prognosis ). Giving a non viable infant comfort/pallitive care is much kinder than sticking tubes and wires into their tiny body ( many weighing under a pound and younger than 23 weeks gestation) causing pain when there is no way they will survive. Instead they should wrap the infant in blanket, hand the infant to the mother , let her hold the infant, love the infant and say goodbye to the little one.

1. Not VA Governor & Dr. Nordham's plan - he was discussing an existing late third-trimester abortion protocol; which was why he could discuss it.

2. The VA bill that prompted the discussion was bottled up in committee - it near reached a vote, it died in committee.

3. Dr. Nordham's discussion of the existing late third-trimester abortion protocol did not include executing the baby; in late 3rd-term pregnancies, that's hardly necessary. The fetus/baby is always in distress, dying or dead; & the health/life of the woman is in danger. If the fetus is born alive, its life expectancy is brief.

Your “arguments” are no more than emotionally charged lies....not facts.
You quote things without the intellectual honesty to understand what you have quoted.

Re: 21 Quotes from the Founder of Planned Parenthood, that will Make You Sick

Prove it.

Prove a negative? Is that how you roll? How about you prove God exists instead?

Abortion rights supporters don't oppose God. There is nothing in the bible against abortion and abortion is not a sin.

She could follow her mother around the room with her eyes in spite of what the quacks may have claimed to the contrary.

That's not abortion. That's euthinasia.

That's actually common in vegitative patients. The eyes can track movement even though there's no higher brain function because the part of the brain that controls eye movement is not also the part that hosts conscienceness or self-awareness.

Re: Who, exactly?

That is what you think. You cannot prove God agrees with you.
I think if God were against something, He'd have made sure to put something about it in the Bible, and there's nothing in the bible against abortion.

born alive children cannot be aborted.

And it is a good plan to have the ability to euthanize infants who are suffering horribly and usually are already on deaths door.

In the Netherlands euthanasia of newborns is legalized through law. Because children are occasionally born with such serious disorders that termination of life is regarded as the best option.

That is the reality. Euthanasia of newborns should only be an option if the following criteria are adhered too:

- In the light of prevailing medical opinion, the child’s suffering must be unbearable and with no prospect of improvement. This means that the decision to discontinue treatment is justified. There must be no doubt about the diagnosis and prognosis;

- Both the physician and the parents must be convinced that there is no reasonable alternative solution given the child’s situation;

- The parents must have given their consent for the termination of life;

- The parents must have been fully informed of the diagnosis and prognosis;

- At least one other, independent physician must have examined the child and given a written opinion on compliance with the due care criteria listed above

- The termination must be performed with all due care.

I personally welcome the law that allows to end the unbearable and pointless keeping alive of newborns if it is against the best interest of the infant.
