I am not anti abortion, but have some interesting figures. In the UK the NHS funds over 190,000 abortions a year, but also fund over 70,000 IVF treatments. Is there some hypocrisy here ?

Not really

Unless they fund the abortion of a pregnancy caused through IVF

If there’s some type of economic hypocrisy between the two procedures, there’s a math involved that can define what the cost/benefit analysis are for both, which can be compared for short and long-term outcomes.

Why would it be?

I don't see any hypocrisy. My province funds abortion and some fertility treatments.

No, unless you are insinuating that the women who want abortions should be the broodmares for the infertile. And I rather doubt that is your intention.

IMO it's nice to see that the UK's NHC/UK respects individual freedom of choice in reproduction.
