What freedom of Choice REALLY means! UK *might* be forcing woman to abortion!

Meh, who cares, you don't believe it not for any real reason, you only disbelieve it because you don't wish to believe it.

I think it's important such an issue is discussed because Great Britain is exactly the type of society this type of thing will happen in.
Their judges can ban local media from reporting on these cases, so you can't go to the press, they can ban people from leaving the country and seizing their passport, and they will not allow any foreign observers to protect the human rights of their citizens. So what about it do you think is wrong, and what circumstance justifies a government official even suggesting a woman get an abortion when she doesn't want one?

Let me see if I understand this right.

You have a reddit post, you bring it here, and challenge all of us to justify it? Worse, when it is obvious that even if it is all factual we are still missing pieces of the story.

I didn’t challenge you to do anything. You’ve decided it’s wrong and if it were confirmed to be true you would immediately pivot to “it’s the right decision”

If a story like this were written in the US I would say it is probably not true, in the UK? Who knows? They’ve done it before are big on using gag orders to stop the press and fining people for acts that are freedom of speech in this country

And it's going to revolve around British law. That's not the same as US law.

It is an OP about the legal aspects of how this case is being handled in the UK.

IMO that blog is mostly BS but we dont know what the medical issues are and if they would be life-threatening to the girl. If they truly are, then their govt may have the power to decide on behalf of the child.

We have similar laws in the US, but not exactly the same.

I dont get involved in abortion issues in other countries...I feel the same way about it but cannot protect those women. In the US, we have a Constitution to protect women.

The reality is though, elements of the American left openly want to copy the UK on gun rights, free speech rights, and healthcare rights, which is to say, you get none at all. So if they’re doing something dirty I want it front page so people can see it.

I can't confirm this story, but knowing the dictatorial police state that is the United Kingdom, it's not implausible.

This was first posted on /r/catholicism but later edited, however the original post was shared to /r/The_Donald so you can read the OP

If I were POTUS I would publically urge this woman to go to a US Military base in Britain with guaranteed asylum, THIS folks is what asylum is for.

I call bovine excrement.

Reporting bans are a thing in the UK, see Tommy Robinson who was held without charges or bail for weeks for taking pictures of suspects in public from a public place.

Not the real story. He was held on remand.
https://www.gov.uk/charged-crime/remand
He was jailed for contempt of court this year. He admitted committing contempt of court by publishing information that could prejudice an ongoing trial via a live stream on his Facebook page. His real name is Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon. He has a criminal record. In October 2012, Robinson was arrested and held on the charge of having entered the United States illegally. Robinson pleaded guilty at Southwark Crown Court to using someone else's passport to travel to the United States in September 2012, and was sentenced in January 2013 to 10 months' imprisonment. Lennon was jailed for assault in 2005. He has also been jailed for fraud. https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-25862838
