The Catholic Church (not it's faithful) needs to be bashed. As I said before a bunch of old men who either sexually abused kids or covered it up and let it continue, have ZERO moral authority to preach their religious views regarding abortion or anything else till they clean up their own house first.

That being said the comparison in the OP by the Pope is ludicrous unless one believes a zygote/fetus is equivalent to a thinking human and a doctor who is performing a medical service to a patient is equivalent to a murderer for hire.

No it’s not the same and you should realize that. Are you thinking that every woman that has an abortion does so for the same reason?

This stupid statement by the pope is solely placing the blame for the abortion on the person performing it by calling them a hitman. Of course the woman having the abortion must have been dragged to an abortion clinic kicking and screaming all the way and tied down while that baby was ripped from her insides. He just forgot to mention that part of of the story.

Most of Jewish faithful and several Christian Protestant Faiths are pro choice.

The Catholic Church should not interfer with our tenets.

Pro choice allows all women of all faiths to follow her own conscience when it comes to abortion.

Since the beginning of the Catholic religion, it’s embrassed to two tenets that’s helps extend the Catholic Church’s life span. First, procreation, which is essential to the maintenance of the traditional subordinate role of women. And secondly, by condemning abortion, that’s helped ensure continuing generations who keep the Church’s revenue flowing in.

After Francis become Pope, he attempted to move the church into the 21st century by expanding its inclusion policies, but the conservatives at the Vatican kicked the skids out of his plans so he placated and has returned to hardlining like his predecessors. IMO that makes Francis a powerlessness wimp who is just a figurehead for radical conservatives who are too afraid such changes will hurt the Church’s bank account.

Almost, and then have the pedophile babysitter's parent's, grandparent's, and great grandparent's hide the crime and make sure the pedophile babysitter is hidden from criminal prosecution and is in a position to recommit the crimes. Does that come closer?

I don't disagree with much of what you say about the Catholic church but, leading a Biblical existence is not "hardlining"...it's a valuable, essential way to lead ones life. IMHO

That's fine. Until it morphs into a quest to control others, at which point we have a problem.

I can actually understand opposition to abortion, though I completely disagree with the banners. Where the catholics and others give the real game away is when you ask them if even contraception should be banned. That's what they were focused on prior to Rowe.
