“Gosnell: The Movie”

It was all over the news...it was not remotely buried.

Not true. You had reporters who have said they tried to bury the story because it hurt the pro-choice movement.

Gladly, here you go:

https://www.thedailybeast.com/why-i-didnt-write-about-gosnells-trial-and-why-i-should-have

the MSM has barely covered a story that could plausibly be named "The Trial of the Century". And that demands explanation. So I'll tell you why I haven't covered it.

To start, it makes me ill. I haven't been able to bring myself to read the grand jury inquiry. I am someone who cringes when I hear a description of a sprained ankle.

But I understand why my readers suspect me, and other pro-choice mainstream journalists, of being selective—of not wanting to cover the story because it showcased the ugliest possibilities of abortion rights. The truth is that most of us tend to be less interested in sick-making stories—if the sick-making was done by "our side."

Of course, I'm not saying that I identify with criminal abortionists who kill infants and grievously wound their patients. But I am pro-choice.

Perhaps to change hearts and minds. Abortion has been glamorized for decades, Seeing the ugly truth could do much good.

Abortions have been "glamorized"? WTF?

Abortion itself is what is cowardly. Glad you brought that up.

You deflected a valid point... that is a very poor debate tactic. Sorry...

Not true. When it was current I saw it in the news all over the place in all media.

What a silly thing to have to lie about.

You should feel bad about it. Everyone should.

If it's for the sake of convenience, I believes it's a murder....debate that.

It is not murder and I 100% condone abortion for convenience prior to viability... hopefully the earlier the better, as is the case anyway.

as i have presented ob this board previously, my wife and i aborted her first pregnancy. the tests revealed that the born child would be severely disabled and would require full time care for the rest of his/her days
that was not the parenting role we were willing to perform

subsequently, we had two wonderful, healthy children who are now adults. they collectively earn in excess of a half million dollars per year. that is shared to demonstrate that they are truly productive members of our society

had we followed your no-abortion practice, neither of those children would have populated this planet as we would not have had more children after the birth resulting from the initial pregnancy

yes, two wonderful people are now living prosperous lives only because we chose the abortion option. plus, my wife and i did not have to pledge our own lives to caring for a near vegetable. while we hated having to make that awful choice, we love the outcome

I see no reason to.

You can believe the moon is made of green cheese, doesn't mean it's true.

I believe one day we'll be judged The consequences of condoning the killing of the innocent won't be a concern for me.

Do you consider your choice to be for convenience?

Me either... because Heaven and God are stupid man made constructs.

I would post the numerous amount of links I have but why bother? You didn't even read my first one.

You might not be around so I won't waste my time...

Irrelevant to the fact that you lied outright about the media coverage of it at the time.

Don't worry, I'll be around, pointing and laughing at such rank dishonesty.

I am sorry you both had to make such as hard Choice with the first pregnacy.

Congrats on your 2 healthy productive children.

And yet, it was still all over the mainstream media and everyone knew about it because in general, most did publish it and it was made public

I am not arguing it wasn't covered. I am arguing it wasn't given the time and major coverage it deserved for political reasons.

Guess we will see. Regardless, if we can't agree abortion is the taking of a life, where's the humanity?

If we dont give a damn about the lives of women...where's the humanity?
