A new film is telling the details of a horror so unspeakable, it shocked federal investigators. It’s a story that needs to be told.

Sometimes, a movie is not about entertainment. Sometimes, it’s about something much more important. A film can expose grave evils, and even inspire us to fight those evils. I think “Gosnell: Trial of America’s Biggest Serial Killer,” is just such a film.

Directed by Nick Searcy, the movie dramatizes the horrific, real-life account of Dr. Kermit Gosnell, the west Philadelphia abortionist whose clinic was described in a 2011 Grand Jury report as a “house of horrors.” During a drug raid there, authorities discovered unsanitary conditions, remnants of 45 aborted fetuses in bags inside freezers, rows of jars containing fetal feet, and untrained staff administering medications, which resulted in the death of at least one patient.

A true hero of women’s health I tell you...

could be excellent timing to illustrate what will result in a widespread, underground manner, if legal abortion rights are rescinded

You mean like the people who killed doctors and bombed clinics were heros of prolife ?

Nothing about any of that in this movie that I'm aware. IMO any of that would be minuscule compared to what Gosnell did to those babies. YES I said babies.

The left is silent on Gosnell, not because they support or endorse what he did but because the policies they support enable someone like this monster to commit and shield his crimes.

Gosnell is no more representative of abortion practitioners than that crazy family that locked their 13 kids in a room all the time and starved them (in CA) are.

He's not more representative of abortion than that nutter woman in Houston that drowned all her kids.

The list is long of parents treating their kids horrendously. Of killing their own kids.

So should we make having kids illegal then? Just because a few, terrible criminals will always exist?

You are missing the point. Quelle surprise.

Explain then why the media buried the gosnell story despite him being one of the most prolific seriel killers?

Mayne just maybe the pro abortion side does not want to associate a baby in the womb as something of deserving rights.

And why would I want to watch something that disgusting? Isn't already knowing about it good enough? Yes... it is.

Talk about missing Lursa's poing...

He was a mass murderer... not an abortion doctor just like some lady that gets a job as a nurse and kills her patients is a mass murderer and not actually a "nurse". So no, the pro-choice side is not associated with this mass murderer... John Wayne Gacy is though...

What a cowardly deflection...

There have been movies about John Wayne Gacy. In fact, serial killers are a popular basis for many films and TV shows. Gosnell is the greatest serial killer in history and Hollywood and the media arent interested. Wonder why.

I was thinking it was a documentary movie... if it is a Hollywood style movie then that is different. I still probably wouldn't watch it unless they take the side of the cops trying to catch hi,. Most movies take that angle and do not glorify the killer...

You could be right, but I dont think its a documentary and its not something I would likely go to the theater to see.

I only watch a movie in a theater once or twice a year but it is always the big special effect block buster type like a Marvel movie, Star Wars or Deadpool or something. Otherwise I wait for DVD or for it to come to a movie channel on cable.

Im the same way. I watched the Gacy movie and would never watch it again. It was way too disturbing. I think the Gosnell movie might be more of the same. I enjoy being entertained, not creeped out.

Exactly... I know what horrible things this guy did just by looking it up for two minutes just a few minutes ago... I don't want to spend two hours watching it on TV. Life is far to short to waste being creeped out by horrible people.

There are people who have killed far more people than Gosnell has.

Sounds like propaganda.

I'll use the gun argument: millions of legal abortions are occurring all around the world, why focus on the one guy who performed illegal ones?

Perhaps to change hearts and minds. Abortion has been glamorized for decades, Seeing the ugly truth could do much good.

Because it's the uglier side of abortion that many do not see or are unaware. IMO, it goes against the Hippocratic oath for a doctor to perform an abortion out simple of convenience. He or she is not only taking chances with the patient's well-being but also taking a life.

It was all over the news...it was not remotely buried.
