Would you drive a woman to get a abortion

it's not an assumption, dude.

Prove it then..."use your words"

Prove that your perceptions of me are better than your assumptions of my gender :lamo

Just for the record, there are some guys (and even some young women) who use the word "dude" as a unisex term of address. I prefer not to, but unfortunately there's no equivalent term for women that some segment of the female population doesn't find offensive. :wassat1:

You are excusing a limited vocabulary? And if it was meant offensively then he was name-calling.

You missed my point: the use of "dude" in a unisex manner is (usually) not meant in an offensive way, because there is no equivalent term such as "girlfriend" (as an arbitrary example) that doesn't provoke offense. Vocabulary has very little to do with it: it's acceptable for women to address her friends as girls, but not for men.

I disagree and that has not been my experience.

So you wouldn't be offended if we were chatting over coffee and I said, "Hey, girl, you missed my point," when it was obvious that I wasn't attempting to offend? If so, that's commendable, but not every other woman is like that.

We were discussing 'dude.'

And this is off-topic as well.

You posted your opinion, I posted mine.

No I doubt I would. After an abortion there can be all kinds of emotional upset and I wouldn't want to be part of the decision of having an abortion. The woman may end up thinking if I hadn't driven her there she wouldn't have taken the life of her child.

Which arts do you enjoy most and how do they shape you?
Art does not shape me it dwells in my passion and I feel it. I own the art it does not own me. It is the fire and I am the harbinger of that fire. It does not manipulate me. In and of art we become more than the edges which some are bound by.

If it was a woman that I would normally give a ride somewhere in other circumstances, then sure.

Why limit your question to driving women only?!?

In this day and age, biology doesn't matter anymore ... a guy may need an abortion, too.

My wife drove me to get a vasectomy. :2razz:

Not a chance in hell. I'm not sure how I feel about legislating the process, but I am definitely not in favor of ending a life. I won't pretend it's a matter of choice for one person. It's going to be a life or is one, depending on your view. Either way, without that ride, it is slightly more likely to be given a chance to live and make its own choice and impact the world.

I wouldn't drive a person to the gallows. I won't drive someone to the gas chamber because their mother decides they are better off dead.

Would you drive a woman to get a abortion? With my three daughters, I am willing to drive them to get a abortion.

if with drive you mean physically transport them? Then the answer would be yes, but only if this is what they truly wanted and that they made that decision without being pressured into it by anyone or anything.

No, I prefer not to be an accessory to murder

Is there any logical reason why i wouldnt?
of course id drive a friend or family member to a medical facility if they needed it

I would never drive her to it! I would respect her choice and take her there in my car, though.

A question: I was banned from the discussion "Serious and Honest Question For Pro-Life Men". Is this for the disputants there transparent or is this only a fact the moderators had created?

My answer to the theme here: Yes - I would drive a woman to get an abortion, if this abortion is her free will, although I am personally against abortions. But I doubt about she will drive a second time with me, if she really aborts her baby and likes to do a second abortion again.

Just a heads up. You may want to read the forum rules very thoroughly.
