[W:249]The Most Important Question About Abortion

According to the linked YouTube video, the question is simple:
Is ending the life of a human fetus moral?
YES,
That's simply because a human fetus is different from a human being. While the YouTube video goes on and on about the medical similarities, it fails utterly to note the differences, which is exactly why we use the words "fetus" and "being" to distinguish the different types of human. One is a being, a person with rights; the other is not. Simple!

Re: The Most Important Question About Abortion

I was hoping you would continue our conversation since the thread was revisited. I was interested in how you justified (legally and morally) the govt having the right to demand that a woman remain pregnant unless a Dr determined her life was in danger from the pregnancy? (Please see your earlier posts) In other words, that a woman would not have the choice of an elective abortion. The govt would effectively force women to remain pregnant against their will.

No I value both.
You can, but not equally, at least not legally nor ethically.

They cannot be treated equally under the law.

I myself value the unborn, but I value all born people more.

You, from your posting, value the unborn more. You would see their rights supercede those of women. And that would reduce women to 2nd class citizens again...which SCOTUS already examined decades ago and decided otherwise.

Why do you believe that the unborn should be equal to men but not women?
