Your definition comes from the current "European type socialism" that seems benign. Socialism never has worked long term, nor can it ever last long term. It's a system of economics that is based on taking from productive citizens and giving to the unproductive. Look at what's about to befall the Nordic nations...the influx of third world immigrants is going to crash their economies, not to mention causing the citizens of these nations to react in a way that will cause the progressive to csall them "racists" and "xenophobes".

Do you have a list of the statistics that show the reasons women have abortions? There are many out there, none list 'convenience.'

Do you teach your kids that finishing school is a 'convenience?' That building a career instead of a minimum wage job is a 'convenience?' That going to college or trade school is a 'convenience?' That not going on public assistance to feed a kid you cant afford is a 'convenience?' That holding onto a job so you can feed the family you already do have is a 'convenience?' That fulfilling their potential and contributing to society is just a 'convenience?'

Well, maybe you do. Maybe you see your life as just a bunch of 'conveniences' all strung together. *I* dont, I value my life and making the most of it.

But if you hold people's lives so cheaply, I can see why you wouldnt value a woman's decision to do what's best for her and for her family, current and future. (And about 3/4 of women that have abortions already have 1 child).

People in these conditions should be very, very cautious about having sex then. Instead of "hooking up" just to "hook up" is an animalistic way to go through life. Most 95% of abortions are performed as birth control and are done by the same women over and over again. They simply live like animals with no self control.

I'm pretty sure you made it up.

The stats will show that 65% of people use birth control.

You do realize that no (non-surgical) birth control works 100% right?

And people have every right to enjoy sex, it's a great thing. Women now have a safer, legal option if they do end up with an unwanted pregnancy.

End result, 39 out of 40 constituencies voted for the abolishing of the abortion ban and 1 out of 40 constituencies voted against. Only Donegal voted against with 48.13 voting for and 51.87 voting against.

In the end 64.13% of the eligible voters voted in the referendum with 66.4 voting for ending the ban on abortion and 33.6 voting against.

I support allowing babies in the womb to live...the most vulnerable among us. You support killing them at will. I believe that I hold the high ground.

You are humiliating yourself with ignorance, having swallowed whole some paranoid conservative spin. Let's see some sources that back up this latest can of garbage?

BS, I respect every woman's right, the only life involved in the majority of abortions.

And most liberals, that is social liberals who are fiscally conservative but on the right side of the voting "universe" are mostly in favor of allowing women to choose, you know, having actual freedom as a woman without big government interfering with your vagina.
