If the NRA owns Republicans, Planned Parenthood owns Democrats

That's just completely dumb, but not surprising coming from conservatives.

Anyway, good, proud of Planned Parenthood, they do more to prevent abortion with access to affordable contraceptives and birth control than any anti-abortion a hole shouting at people and doing nothing to prevent sex education, nothing to provide access to contraceptives, and nothing to actually support woman who have the baby and go into adoption. Once they are born the anti-abortion people say fork them. The same people are often also against feeding poor children, providing healthcare.


Along with providing other contraceptives, PLanned Parenthood does a lot of other affordable medical procedures for people who need it.

What does the anti-abortion person yelling at people entering planned parenthood do to help people? Absolutely nothing

I know what he dishonest OP was probably going at, that the amount of actual living, breahting, thinking feeling, viable humans being killed by guns is equal with the ending of development of an embryo/fetus. That's laughable.

You are not going to change human behavior through twitter mobs, hashtag movements, and speeches. The only way to reduce the number of sexual assaults and rapes is through changing the law.

Trump made a good example of this when he praised China's laws who put drug dealers on death row. If we have strict punishments against rapists, instead of viewing them as patients, and enforce a zero-tolerance policy towards abortion, the number of rapes/sexual assaults would go down significantly, I am sure of that.

Banning abortions would decrease rapes drastically? You think when a man is raping a woman the first thing on his mind is pregnancy? How does that even work. And frankly when the woman presents to the ER, in short order she is offered the morning after pill. She is the one worried about pregnancy, not him.

Good grief....I thought I have heard everything.

But the point is...in reality the unborn are not part of society.

They are human as a fetus. Just not a person until they exist outside the womb separate from the physiology of the mother.

Planned Parenthood helps shield rapists. Many reports show they fail to notify the police during a sexual assault.

If a man knows abortion is legal, he would less likely pressure a woman into have an abortion, or worse, take matters into his own hands.

A lot of men are willing to step up to be fathers. They need to be encouraged into thats child's life to make them feel like a father.

While PP is good for poor women, I'm not saying it isn't, we still have people in power today that want to make sure impoverished women do not breed. Up until just recently, California was still pushing sterilization for imprisoned women, and black women figure heavily into that number. When forced eugenics fell out of favor, birth control that focused on keeping minorities and the poor from breeding took its place. The link supports the assertion that black women want and need birth control just as much as white women do.

You can blame California, which btw has a large evangelical population...but it was mostly southern republican states that had forced sterilization and it wasn't just black women. Fortunately, these days no one is getting sterilized without their permission...but unfortunately, conservatives figured out that forcing women to have more children than they can afford helps keep them economically poor and ignorant. The method might different but the goal is the same...suppress women. Not sure which is worse, forced sterilization or forced pregnancy because both take away women's autonomy over their own body and their right to choose and plan their own future.

You are not making any sense. Banning abortion would not lower rape incidences. It has been presented in multiple threads...murder is a major cause of maternal death. Those stats fly in the face of your theory.

A FACT THAT MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. See the Constitution-plus-Amendments. They use the word "person" throughout, and don't use the word "human" even once. And it is extremely easy to prove that the notions of "person" and "human" are totally different concepts, having nothing-at-all to do with each other. First, see Science Fiction, which for decades has been teaching the population that non-human entities can fully qualify as people. Do you think those kids in the movie "E.T." helped the visitor because they thought he was a monster? No, to those kids he was as much a person as themselves! And nowadays most humans on this planet have seen such portrayals --remember that India has formally declared dolphins to be "non human persons", which means we don't even have to reference fictional entities to talk about non-human persons!

Second, sometimes after an ovum is fertilized, it develops apparently normally until it implants into a womb, after which it forms a "hydatidiform mole" instead of a normal embryo. Nevertheless, that entity is 100% alive and 100% human --but not even the most vehement of abortion opponents will insist that just because it is a living human entity, it is also a person deserving rights. Therefore the concepts of "human" and "person" truly don't have anything to do with each other. Q.E.D.

I have no need to provide proof if you already have a position set in stone. Let's be honest Lursa. No amount of facts will sway your current position, no matter how convincing or damning.
 
I have no desire to debate someone so entrenched in their position. At least Trump supporters listen. They aren't tangled in such partisan politics, it is refreshing to debate people who aren't devoid of objectivity.

You do realize many Trump supporters were Obama supporters and aren't even Democrats?

As I stated in another thread, Trump will get reelected in a landslide. He defied everyone's expectations. We need him to finish the job on abortion.
