You can't boil that lobster, but you can abort that babt.

Lobsters May Feel Pain, So It's Now Illegal to Boil Them Alive in Switzerland

That's right, in the world of OZ, you can abort a baby but not boil a live lobster.

Does everyone else see the hypocrisy of this? It doesn't matter which side of the abortion argument you come down on, just that a Lobster "may" feel so you can't boil it, but no mention of the feelings of the unborn child.

You can have my pot of salted, boiling water when you pry it from my cold dead hands. And it ain't just lobsters. Crawfish, crabs, clams, and any of their unborn offspring are going in there.

I've never seen such a huge amount of dummies on one site. Not that any of you are dummies, just that I've seen lots on this site. This is about morons protecting the feelings of a lobster.

Actually, we would not be commenting at all about lobsters. Except you made a thread comparing lobsters to fetuses. Dummy.

No, no, no, don't call me a dummy, you'll get 3 points for baiting on this forum.

So what was it doing in the abortion sub-forum then?

How about the environmental or general sub-forums?

Dont be dishonest. The fetal pain thing had to be spelled out for you.

You just called lots of people morons and dummies. I guess I was caught up in the moment. Was it because I was specifically referring to you? Please accept my apologies. I will restate my opinion. Anyone making such a comparison is a dummy.

I've blocked you.

I've blocked you.

That's nice. How come you saw the post you quoted?

Wont stop me from responding to your posts, so you'll look like you arent capable of supporting your arguments. Kinda like here where you now act like you were posting about lobsters...in the abortion sub-forum.

But I think we all got some good recipes out of it!

If you weren't comparing this to abortion, or if this was just about the feelings of a lobster, why is it in the abortion forum, and why did you bring it up with abortion in your OP?

AND it very unlikley that the lobster feels any pain as it is chucked into boiling water.

This is a government has gone bad....the collective is ill story.

Zefs cannot feel pain until the 3rd trimester. At that point, elective abortions are rarely done, if at all.

Comparing hatched lobsters to the unborn does not pass muster.

You started an incredibly stupid thread trying to link cooking lobsters to abortions.

You own this, sadly, you just can't understand how absolutely stupid your OP is.

If I had a million dollars for every poster that said that they blocked me, but didn't, I'd have more than a million dollars....I tell you whut...

If it makes you feel any better, they probably frown on boiling fetuses as well.

I haven't blocked you yet.

The answer is easy, there is no LOBSTER forum!

And you know this how?

Thats what I thinking to . . LMAO.
Ill never understand why so many topic people make failed arguments that aren't analogous in any logical way.

(also note I have no clue what they do in Switzerland but i know america isn't banning abortion anytime soon because thats 3rd world stuff)

Sounds reasonable, you know, since a lobster is actually sentient whereas a fetus is not. :doh

Sentient might be stretching it a bit. Afterall a lobster's really an oversized bug. Albeit a tasty oversized bug.

So because a lobster can feel pain when being tossed into a pot of boiling water it is now forbidden in Switzerland? But their laws on abortions where many believe the fetus can feel pain doesn't coincide with their thinking with lobsters. Do I have that right?

Here in Ohio we have been passing laws due to when a fetus can actually feel pain. You know the OP has a significant point.

People now in Switzerland are more concerned over the pain of a lobster than a fetus. A friggin lobster gets more respect than a human fetus.

Well let us just mark another steller example of the total moral decay of the human race. And so many wonder why there has been such a decline in society in general over the respect of human life......

Are people in Sweden that stupid or uneducated that they think abortions cause fetuses pain? That's disappointing.

No the op doesnt, hence why the op is being mocked so bad, because no matter the reason for the law boiling a lobster has nothing to do with abortion on any level. They are not analogous in any honest, rational or intellectual way. But your snowflake, uber-dramatic over the top, dishonest description of the situation is pretty funny.
