There's no killing of babies at all. What are you talking about?
He drank too much hyperbole this morning.

AHAHAH BUT.... you could legally adopt? And once you adopt its pretty hard to abort and or give the baby back. If I might add... I was adopted twice with 3 different parents.... So I completely understand the abortion/adoption options personally.
Life is full of choice..........again....I would NOT want to see a 12-17 year old have to make the abortion choice if they didnt have to by being responsible regardless if they are having underage sex.... precautions COULD be taken. This is just my feelings...../opinion.
I definitely could. And I might in the future. But obviously, my point is, we can't get each other pregnant.
That would be weeeird if that was possible.
That is my opinion as well. People should definitely take the necessary precautions before having sex. It's not good if you just rush into it without thinking.
So we are in agreement on that.
You celebrate the killing of babies because the drain they MAY put on society. Hell...why stop there...you should have the balls to go all the way with your logic. Purge all the scum undesirables.
I am curious....do you think in the "good old days" sex was respected? Was it on a higher moral ground?I dont think I am "old" school yet..... I am older, but not that old. When I was 15 years old, I remember the temptations of Sex, I had heard so many stories of other kids 12-17 having sex. The sad part is the stories were pretty much the same...a girl that was pushed into it by a guy that was tempted by it. With no regards to the consequences. To me this was Fact, I dont know how it goes around the rest of the world but the world i was in, It was treated very very irresponsible. It was sad as then being 19 or 20 years old, when you met your "first love" stuck sharing your under age escapades. likely was not a proud moment.
More so having being 30 and explaining to your life partner that you had to have an abortion almost 15 years ago. This again is a commonality, of what I remember and what friends or exes or whatever went through not so long ago......
Proper education and respect for sex to me has been lost in our current society. So for a topic study like the OP was.... its sadly useless as it common sense that an abortion Does help an underage teen, its kinda like one of those "DUH" moments..... but to half to drop the truth 15 years later, when they are 30 years old, or when they reach 40 and their children ask the question.... what do you tell them.... But of course... a 15 year old kid at the time doesnt care right?.......
We are pro-choice, therefore we all celebrate when a woman gets an abortion!

I am pro-choice and personally against abortion. I guess my celebration will be more of a soiree.

The way sex was viewed in the past was way worse, in my opinion.
Remember the good old days when men could rape their wives?
The good old days when spousal abuse was swept under the rug?
Nah, you'll be celebrating along with the rest of us. You are also a part of the Liberal Collective, Komrade.

Is it weird to say I am in the same thought choice as you.......ultimately the choice is the choice, while I would personally not choose abortion as my "go to" choice, if it ultimately, makes the most sense (omg flamesuit) it is what it is.....I cant someone of their own free will.....

That is why insofar as decreasing abortions go - the only logical path is pragmatism.
Prevent unwanted pregnancy (improved, safer, more financially accessible birth control -long term options have shown to be a great option)
Turn an unwanted pregnancy into a wanted one. Not by fingerwagging and slut shaming. But show the woman the path to being able to afford to raise her child in a safe and healthy way. This is more difficult. Hell, we cannot even agree in this country that good health care for Americans should be a sure thing. So it stands to reason a women who is struggling to care for herself is not seeing any hope for her being able to raise a family.
To me, those are the only ways to DRASTICALLY decrease rates of abortions.
Slut shaming (where is the stud shaming) and moralistic fingerwagging is ineffectual and is more of a ego masturbation for the moralistic fingerwagger.
Do you label yourself as pro-choice or pro-life?

Then you too have slipped to a new low.
Oh my God, they are killing their kids!!!!!!!
I thought we were speaking to abortion.
And the vast majority do not.
BTW, I know of 2 women suffering through the same issues because they adopted out their babies. One has been suffering for about 40 years, the other for 15 or 20.
Can you show any reliable stats that indicate major psych issues are prevalent post abortion? Because time and time again, the stats we have posted show COMPLETELY the opposite.
I never said miscarriage and abortion are the same even though I do belive that abortions may be part of God’s plan just as miscarriages sometimes are a part of God’s plan.
I think that fetuses that are miscarried or aborted are just the shells that a soul enters into at birth.
About two thirds of zygotes ( fertilized eggs ) are never implanted or self abort about the first week after implanting.
It does not matter that they had "unique" DNA.
They passed right though the body.
I had two miscarriages. my second one was a very malformed fetus.
If I had not had those two miscarriages my two youngest might never have been born
because my husband and I had wanted and planned for 4 children.
God sometimes works in very mysterious ways.
Sometimes things are not meant to be.
We have no idea if sometimes abortions are a part of God's plan
just as miscarriages may sometimes be a part of God's plan.
I had two miscarriages between my 2 ed and 3rd child.
The first miscarriage was early on. I was about 5 to 6 weeks gestation.
If I had carried to term the due date would have been in March.
During my 4th pregnancy I went into premature labor when I was about 5 months gestation.
I was looking forward to a healthy baby.
My doctor was out of town so when I went into early labor we ended up at the ER.
They took a pregnancy test and told me I was no longer pregnant.
The doctor covering for my doctor did not want to come in that day so they shot me full of med's to try to stop the labor.
They took me to the maternity ward with other woman who had given birth to healthy babies.
When I was transferring from the gurney to the bed the fetus was expelled and I accidentally saw it and how malform it was.
My doctor told me that the fetus was so malformed that even if I had carried it longer it never would have been viable.
If it had been a healthy pregnancy and I had carried it to term my due date would have been in November.
A little more than year later I learned I was pregnant again.
I was very worried I might miscarry again.
I had been irregular so the doctor sent me for an ultrasound to monitor how far along I was and if everything looked normal.
I was told my due date was the end of January.
I had some false labor mid January ,went to the hospital and I was sent back home.
I had false labor again the end of January but it stopped so the doctor ordered meds to induce the labor.
The contractions were coming too hard and too fast. They were worried about the baby so
they stopped it.
My doctor ordered fetal activity tests 2 times a week for the next 4 weeks.
To make a long story shorter our "Miracle" child was born March 2 ed.
Two and half years later our youngest was born in November.
March and November ... God chose the same months my miscarried ones were due.
Acts of violence against the helpless are in no way, part of God's plan.
Abortions are not acts of violence.
I MIGHT AGREE WITH YOU ON THAT, IN SOME CASES. (But in other cases ... how is using the drug RU486 as an abortifacient "violent"?) However, elective abortions ARE acts of self-defense. Any violence that happens to be part of an abortion is fully acceptable on the grounds of needing to make an assailant stop its multiple assaults right now.Keep telling yourself that
Those women, for the most part, are not being honest for one reason or another.
