Oregon has passed the nation’s most progressive abortion bill, requiring state insurers to provide free abortions for all, including illegal immigrants.

Gov. Kate Brown, a Democrat, signed the historic health bill Tuesday, after the Legislature approved it in July. It would require Oregon insurance companies to cover reproductive procedures, all on the taxpayers' dime.

Absolutely absurd. Free abortions with no deductibles or co-payments. Not only will more lives be killed, but taxpayers and insurance companies will be funding this monstrosity of legislation.

We know for a FACT (sorry if facts allude you) that almost 90% of all abortions in the USofA happen before 12 weeks.

Overall costs of Oregon having to provide maternity care and subsequent financial assistance because a woman is not in the financial, physical, or social position to be pregnant, let alone care for a child.

No person dies in abortion. A pregnancy ends and an embryo or fetus dies,

No one is forced to have an abortion. If it violates their beliefs they clearly should not have one. If a person has one against their beliefs, that is their moral failing, not the law.

I don't support abortion or illegal immigration. Why should I be forced to pay taxes supporting both??

You can't....separation of church and state. You, however, refrain from having an abortion. Don't worry so much about what happens when others meet their maker, you're only responsible for yourself.

I fully support abortion as it currently stands in the USofA. Absolutely.

I do NOT support illegal immigration.

I do fully support legal immigration.


Now, that being said, the abortion of an illegal immigrant prevents an anchor baby. Something I believe most conservatives are also firmly against.
So allowing illegal immigrants to have legal abortions (read safe abortions) in the USofA is something I certainly won't protest at all.

War for instance..

Blood transfusions for instance.

Granting them a free good improves the probability that they won't multiply and tip the racial status quo. Maybe liberals don't understand the effects of their policies very well, thinking it is enough that it was well meant.
We are running into the fallout of that way of doing politics on many fronts, where our civil rights, social programs and welfare structures are running us into the mud.
