Texas’ maternal death rates top most industrialized countries

From your OWN SOURCE:

You have a serious issue with conflating correlation with cause and effect. Once again: For a half dozen years Texas Legislators did everything in their power to shut down access to the types of reproductive health organizations, which screened women's prenatal and postnatal health conditions, which could have easily identified these known risk factors in women who ultimately died from reproductive issues.

Texas legislators on the right are corrupt assholes. They'd sell their grandma's for a buck. When these folks don't deliver for the radical religious right, who keeps them in office to do their bidding - they'll be gone. They finally figure out ways to circumvent Roe v Wade, they went for it at the cost of so many Texas women in so many ways. And it came back to bite them in the ass.

They need to suffer severe legal consequences for interfering in Texas women's reproductive health.

You should listen to your neighbors...might learn a thing or two.

I do if they show any evidence of having adequate critical thinking, problem solve, and social skills along with the ability to utilize logic and reason.

You might try hanging out with similar people.

I would like to point out that americans have also gotten very wealthy by selling arms around the world and benefited as profiteers of conflict. That international security was a two way street not just the benefits flowing out. It is also with that wealth that america can attract the best in the health industry from all over the world. It would be a lie to suggest that the american healthcare research was done only by americans. And a tendency to live in the past glorifying deeds like Stuttgart and Shanghai. While the world moves on and more billionaires pop up in places like india or china. The asian market becomes much more accessible and attractive while america sinks into an isolationist mode and the cost of doing business is to much.

You did not win the cold war, russia lost it, there is a distinction. Nor is being a bully winning a war with with iraq.

I'm sure you think that sounds intelligent.

But the trend started long before the change you're all blaming this for. The facts about the causes of death don't line up with your accusations either. But you want to believe that it's true, so that you can justify your hate and bigotry, so little things like facts and the truth can be set aside as non-essentials.

Wow, the first known description of preeclampsia was by Hippocrates in the 5th Century.

Drs have known about it for hundreds of years so its hard to believe theyre not properly informing their patients who are at risk for preeclampsia.

Again, this shouldnt be used to push a Political or ideological agenda.

Texas has over the last 8 years experienced a unprecedented influx of Americans from other States.

In major Texas cities and the areas around them its seen a huge population boom and I didnt read anything in the studies that atttributed the deaths per capita

Unlike Texas California cares enough about women to lower the maternal deaths.

From a June 2017 article:

California Proves Commitment to Women’s Health Reduces Maternal Mortality Rates

California has a different mentality when it comes to maternal health, and this is the reason that only California showed dropping rates of maternal death in a recent report on maternal mortality rates in the United States.

No other state in the country has done what California has done, and therefore, California alone has mortality rates that rival other first-world countries.

So what does California do differently?

In a country where hemorrhage and preeclampsia complications are the biggest reasons mothers die in or after childbirth, California health care systems hold doctors accountable for medically unnecessary c-sections, and educate providers on how to handle emergencies before the emergency happens.

Dr. David Lagrew is with Stanford’s California Maternal Quality Care Collaborative (CMQCC) and has made revolutionary strides in the mission to keep mothers alive during and after childbirth. Dr. Lagrew’s motivation for making birth safer for both babies and mothers came from watching a woman die from placenta accreta complications while he was a medical fellow in 1984.

Placenta accreta happens when parts of the placenta or its accompanying vessels attach too deeply to the uterine wall. In typical childbirth situations, after birth, the placenta alone would detach from the uterine wall. In placenta accreta, that detachment can bring with it parts of the uterus and cause torrential bleeding.

A woman can die in fewer than five minutes with that kind of bleeding, and sadly, not being prepared for that situation is the number one reason women die from the complication.

But, you think they're deplorable.

Yes, they do line up with with the University of Maryland and the World Health Organization's findings. All of the causes have been openly included.

But buck stops with the Texas Legislators who have only taken any action is being publicly shamed into putting together a task force, which I trust as much as I do the LifeNews organization to make and honest effort to help substantially lower the maternal mortality rate.

There's been (1) professor who has claim that he disagrees with the Study's reporting method, but failed to issue any refuting data.

The only hate and bigotry in this matter comes from the radical religious right who props up the corrupt right in the Texas Legislature. They'll go to any length to deny women adequate reproductive healthcare and the right to reproductive self-determination.

You forget the history of it. The Great Powers had all destroyed themselves, while the Americans had not. America was so fantastically wealthy that it was mind boggling. That is where your analysis goes off the truth. Everything following thereafter is therefore wrong. You should get your facts right, but then you couldn't defend such obtuse propaganda.

My facts are right even the way i spin it has more truth than the flag waving bull**** that you talk about. America i have no problem with, it is the loud mouth americans who think they own the world that is the problem.
