The #1 thing we should be talking about

You know, Bucky, when you ask stupid questions, you're not going to get intelligent answers. Just thought I'd point that out.

You know Phys251. When you liberals shove the idea that women need to care about abortion and birth control the most, that's simply demeaning to all women.

Why do women only get excited and protest only after Trump makes a couple of insensitive comments? Where was the outrage after Bill Clinton was rampaging women? Focus your campaign on school choice, equal pay, the treatment of women in the middle east.

Focusing on abortion will make your campaign a partisan joke.

When a woman is contemplating an abortion, WHY do they feel abortion is their only option?

Addressing the reasons why will provide real solutions instead of killing our most defenseless.

Why does the left view children as a threat? Shouldn't we as a society have open arms to help children and women instead of killing and dismembering them?

Very simply because nothing else will solve the problem. Why go through the 9 months and the delivery if you're just going to give the child up?

Who says that women need to focus on abortion and birth control the most?

And frankly, the issue is less about abortion and birth control and more about a person's ability to make decisions on what happens to their own body. Most prochoicers (like myself) would never consider abortion as an option for themselves.

The majority of women I meet get excited when talking about abortion. Usually, they will have a strong opinion either way.

When you talk about equal pay, school choice, the treatment of women in the middle east, that excitement wanes.

Abortion is a red herring issue that distracts women from the real issues at hand.

Too many lies in there to count. But honesty has never been a strong suit of the prolife movement, so we're used to this by now.

Which is exactly why we lost the 2012 [sic] election by making a strong push for women's rights. ;)

We lose when we try to make peace with the Far-Right, which includes most of the anti-choice movement. Here's the thing: The Far-Right is inherently unpeaceable. The only way to deal with them is to nonviolently stand them up, to drown out their lies with a shower of truth.

Let me get this straight:

Pro choice groups will win with non-violence?

Try not murdering babies!

That's like arguing ISIS will win with non-violent tactics. ISIS by definition is violence like pro-choice groups.

When will you stop beating your wife, Bucky?

Pro choice groups aren't murdering babies.

LOL. I swear I've never heard an anti-abortion argument that wasn't full of raw emotionalism, veiled in exaggerations and lies. Yours is no exception.

Here's some questions:

Why does the right view fetuses as "children" and how does outlawing abortion NOT make women defenseless against their own body's unpredictable processes? Furthermore, if really caring for women and children is not just a high priority for conservatives but the "#1 thing", why aren't all unwanted babies adopted by conservatives the minute they're born and why is healthcare, nutrition and education not a guarantee?

It may make you feel good to pretend you're defending "innocent" life but, the truth is, you're not. What you're doing is stripping freedom from women under the guise of advocacy for babies. If enslaving women is your answer to protecting babies, then you are a monstrous liar. Women are the best advocates of babies that there is and only they know if they are prepared for the responsibility of raising one.

Your hysteria is sadly misdirected at the best hope for children. Namely, rights-empowered women. You couldn't be more wrong if you tried.

I am right because I know I am right. You are wrong because you are wrong. It's that simple. I don't have to worry because this is a simple issue. Do you support good or evil. When you guys support evil policies, you will never be right.

Bucky, if you and your peeps would stop trying to take a woman's right to chose her own health care options, the discussion would stop. The pro-life side is the one forcing the conversation.

What you are saying is "do what we demand so we can start talking other important issues".

The concept of protecting life should be universally held. I believe in human rights.

It's against the law to murder babies in the US.

If you are right. And you've Always have been right then the laws of the land would reflect your claims of you being right....but they don't.

Which appears you support. A woman does not have any right to kill life inside its uterus.

There are no babies purposely killed in the US that have no lawful consequences.

You have the same mindset that legalized slavery in this country. Determining someone's worth before they are even born. For shame RM.

That argument is old and not valid.

So, like I said ....your concept is "bow to our beliefs and then we can discuss other things"

Babies are purposely killed in PP all the time. If you want to de-humanize a fetus in a bundle of cells, go ahead. It doesn't make it true.
