If the woman does not wish to remain pregnant, then the abortion is "legitimate".

And the issue here is that if a woman doesn't inform the man she had his child she should not receive child support OR back child support.

In fact, she should be fined and face community service for a few thousand hours.

The issue is really about having to pay for a child you never knew you had and about parenting rights.

I agree she should not receive back support. Undecided about child support from that point on, as that is for the child. He should be able to try to get custody or 50/50 custody, though. (though that should be gradual so the child can get to know him)

I guess that justifies demanding that someone else go through all that hardship, just to give him what he wants. Yeah, totally justified.
 
Women should have every right, legally and morally, to decide for themselves whether or not to tell their former sexual partners that they are/were pregnant, and when. There is no rational basis for the argument that a man putting his penis in a woman should give him any say in what she does with her womb, or what she does with anything that comes out of her womb.

By the same token, when a woman decides to have sex, and decides to complete her pregnancy, and decides to keep her child... she should have no right to hold the man responsible for the consequences of her decisions.

How could someone not know that said girlfriend/wife was scum prior to having sex? Perhaps alcohol or drugs were involved. And no, I don't care. Don't spread your legs and don't whip it out. Problem solved. Other than rape and several other grey areas.

That would be only for cultural Marxists. Unfortunately cultural Marxism has made it into law. That needs to be reversed. Even the murderous dictator Castro brothers had sense enough to not kill their own offspring. To be lower than the Castro brothers takes some effort.

courts have ruled that these are separate issues and not connected. if she refuses to let him see the child then he needs to file a contempt of charge on her for violating a court order.
The only thing i can agree is that she should not receive back support for the entire time but the time that notice was given.

This is why i say both people are equally responsible and that is how the court views it.
however having a child creates a burden that someone has to take care of both financially and working.

working single mothers usually make way less than others.
