In your scenario, which again is crazy rare, you said the kid was dead either way.
In the opposite case if the mom is dead either way, you do what you can to save the kid.
It would essentially never happen that you have a scenario where the mom can be saved OR the kid can be saved but not both and if you do nothing, both die. That one just doesn't align to the real world as a thing that happens so I t's not really worth contemplation. My only thought about it is that in any scenario where I can save my daughter or myself, always her. If my death only gives increased chance of her survival, with no guarantee, still always her. Always.
In the rare and extreme circumstance I offered your imagination, it seems you would recommend saving the 11 year old rather than make the baby and mother suffer death. At least you are in some regard pro-choice. Thank you for your input.
