Roe vs Wade Can Be Overturned![W:134]

Re: Roe vs Wade Can Be Overturned!

:doh

You do yoga? Do your yoga. Then.....
Go back and read my post! Take your time reading it. Let it sink in. Soak it up.

If that still doesn't work..........maybe a hammer will do?

Do you make claims that you can't backup because you're too busy doing yoga?

Re: Roe vs Wade Can Be Overturned!

We shouldn't. We have too many people in the country now, but if we are going to increase population, better to bring people from other countries than add more to the total on the planet.

It's pretty much true that not every human offspring needs to survive in order for the human species to continue.

That's something some humans have a hard time understanding because of our genetic makeup of being K-Strategists.

Read it!

It's not about having too many people!
We don't have enough young people!

If that's how you see it.....don't be complaining when you're forced to follow other people's culture someday,
in your own land!

No, it's actually about younger workers ( those of working age , specifically the 18 to 35 years ).

They don't want to wait for infants to grow up. In 20 years or so a lot of the baby boomers will be gone from natural causes and we ( both Canada and the US ) will no longer have so many more retired individuals compared to working individuals.

Just let 20 to 30 years pass and the racial of the working v retired will be evened out more.

From the article:

Under new rules that will take effect next year, workers aged 47 and over will receive no points for age, compared with 12 for those between 18 and 35, the most coveted age group under the Federal Skilled Worker Class of immigrants.

That is what the article is really about.

Oh, well. *shrug* We should have thought of that when we were breeding like rabbits.

Not gonna happen. I live in a free country.

Why do you think we need to import younger workers?

You're not thinking hard enough. In our democracy, votes matter.
Whatever culture becomes dominant - it will be the culture that will eventually rule.

I almost have a perverse wish to have it so for a repressive culture to become in power.....like Islam, as an example.......just so to see how the pro-choice people such as yourself, fare in it.

That says a lot more about you than it does about me.

About me??? What about you?

Typical. You ignored the reason why I said that: to correct your misguided notion about your so-called democracy.

You said it's better to bring in more people from other country than to add more to the population - and I commented on the impact it would have on our culture. You rely on democracy.
You think democracy protects your culture.

Thus I explained:

You're not thinking hard enough. In our democracy, votes matter.

Just think what else you pro-choice are going to lose if ever a repressive culture becomes the norm.
Your "right to privacy" will take on a whole new meaning when you're burquad in "privacy" from top to bottom.

If fornicating women are penalized in such dire manners.......I bet abortion wouldn't even be an issue.

Of course, all that went sailing over your head.

Thanks for the laugh, I needed one! None of that is going to happen in my country.

Thankfully, not all Canadians think the way you do.

So yes, I agree.....that won't likely happen.

Thankfully, the majority of Canadians are pro choice and want abortion to remain legal. Even most politicians who are against abortion are smart enough to know that to try to make it illegal would be political suicide.

You can't be sure of that.

Key Findings

some way beforee birth.

27% of Canadians believe that human life should be protected
from the moment of conception, 32% believe human life should be protected during
pregnancy, while 22% believe it should be protected after birth.

When asked about their position on abor
tion, 52% said they support the right of a
woman to make choices about their body, 17% support abortion in only extreme
circumstances,18% are opposed to abortion but recognize the right of individuals to
make their own choices, and 8% believe abortion shou
ld be illegal.

45% of Canadians think that abortions should be
entirely
funded by public health care
while 42% believe the procedure should be paid for by the patient or by the public
system in only extreme circumstances.

52% of Canadians said they are not

Why would they be open to a debate? It means, nothing is cast in stone.
If majority of the population is open to a debate - anything is possible.
I'm sure a lot of people are cowed to acquiesce to abortion- in fear of being labelled.

And majority I bet, want to hear a debate, to sift the propaganda from facts.

Even most politicians who are against abortion are smart enough to know that to try to make it illegal would be political suicide.

I agree. Political Correctness has its grip on society. That's why Trump is so refreshing.
People are silently stewing over political correctness.

Thank you for proving my point!!!!!! 52% is a majority. Though a more recent one says 57%. 6 in 10 Canadians support abortion under any circumstances: Ipsos poll - National | Globalnews.ca

Where in the 4th Amendment is the language "right to privacy" stated - and this is what you're claiming.

As for everything else you've stated...meh! It just proves that you are a Constitution fundamentalists or an originalists. That's a perception that you are entitled to have, but it appears that that thinking hasn't turned out well for you. There's volumes of historical evidence, which clearly shows and proves that the Constitution is not meant to be a static instrument.

Article V even outlines how the Constitution can be changed. And it has been changed numerous times. This my friend, is also another reality that the Constitution wasn't meant to be static.

Dear Removable Mind,

I wanted to personally message you and thank you for your time spent writing on debatepolitics.com. Your words are inspirational and poetic to me. I get really excited to read what you write when I'm flipping through that forum.

The way that you convey your thoughts, and think out your argument speaks highly of your intelligence. I can tell that it's not even that your opinions that reflect my own, but how well you've turned information into knowledge.

Thank you so much,

I'm flattered and a bit embarrassed at the same time. Thank you for your kind words.

We all have our own belief systems that we use to navigate through the craziness on a daily basis. There's a lot of folks in DP who are passionately devoted to their beliefs and opinions. Perhaps one day we'll all find a way to be kinder to each other despite our differences - and especially how we convey them.

Respectfully, and "thank you"....

RM
