14 States Passed Laws Making it Harder to Get an Abortion

Ah gezzzzzzzz gawd, please, now you are going to go back to the abortion mill argument. If you are against abortion, don't have one. Or don't have a relationship with anybody who would have an abortion. See how simple this is?

You pay way more tax money for toilet seats appropriated and paid for by Congress than any dollar spent for medically necessary abortions paid to medicaid recipients.

Using that logic, if you dont like murder. Dont commit murder. If you dont like robbery, dont rob. Your argument is for no laws. Or at least no laws that you disagree with.

If an innocent human was not being killed, not many people would care. The fact that you are killing a human, legal person or not, makes it everyones business. And you cant expect the argument to never end.

Just because we spend more money wastefully on other things is not a justification to spend tax money on abortion.

Forcing people to pay taxes that go towards abortion, even if just in support, is exactly the situation our Constitution was meant to prevent.

That is a false equivalency argument.

Oh brother...:roll" RM...this is sheer nonsense. When talking about innocence we're talking about a live that has done nothing to deserve capital punishment.

You're talking about YOUR personal moral beliefs....

I already told you. I'm am pro-abortion. I really don't care if the irresponsible women have the unborn babies sucked out. But I don't deny what they are... Abortion mills. They perform how many abortions a year?

No, you're not.

No, you're not.

I'll tell you what, the next time you need an abortion, I will drive you to the abortion mill myself. Okay? Just because I call it what it is, that means that I'm against abortions? It's snuffing out a life but it is legal, so be it. I have no issue with it.

As are you.

No, at the very worst you can claim is that I'm appealing to authority. I "100%" support the laws, created by federal authorities that make abortion legal right. Note I said, "right", not privilege.

Your war on innocent lives is duly noted.

That is such a tired meme. It's a fetus. Spend your energy worrying about the "innocent lives" of born children. I notice how your crowd tends to discount them once they pass through the birth canal.

Canada is a model of what happens when pro-aborts get their way. Can you tell me what the number of weeks is in Canada?

It is not illegal at any stage here in Canada.

Can you tell me the number of 3rd trimester abortions done in Canada?

52. Same as here. I believe.

Perhaps you do not know that there are 7 states in the US that have no gestation limits when it comes to legal abortions but their rate of abortions past 21 weeks gestation are no higher than any of the states that have limits.

Your war on women meme is even more tiresome and cliche and devoid of reason so *shrug* I just flipped the script on you. As far as discount them once through the birth canal...I've never heard of a pro-life person supporting killing born children while apposed to killing the child while still in the womb.

Which are laws based on personal moral beliefs. Your position is no different on that account. That aside, I find it somewhat disturbing that you abdicate all of your own morality to the laws of the state. I suppose you would have fought for the South in the Civil War, eh?

This is 2016, not 1861, 2, 3, 4, or 5. Don't try to compare my beliefs in current laws to days of old. Things have changed for some people.

Laws are created using "moral reasoning", not individual moral beliefs, with the goal to create a language that is unbiased with regard to all persons that the laws might apply to. And this is a nation ruled by civil laws, not Canon Law or the like.

The difference in time isn't a point. It's meaningless. So you're doubling down with you having no morality aside from what the laws dictates for you.

Yes, laws are created using certain sets of moral reasoning, like everything else in the world. You just happen to think that your moral reasons are better than others. I'll say that your supposed "reasoning" seems to be lacking on this subject.

I have. There's a guy on another board who opposes abortion but promotes killing neonates if they are born with disabilities.

Nonsense. They support deporting them, shooting them if they try to cross the border, cutting off their healthcare benefits, reducing their foodstamps, and dropping bombs on them all the time.

Are they against abortion if they are found to be disabled inside the womb?

Nonsense. They support deporting them, shooting them if they try to cross the border, cutting off their healthcare benefits, reducing their foodstamps, and dropping bombs on them all the time.

So deporting a child back to their legal nation of origin is now equal to killing them? Wow, who woulda thunk it?! The rest of that stuff falls into the same category, a misrepresentation, or a distorted comparison.

Such a weak response definitely made my point much stronger, though. Thanks.

Bolding mine in your quote since it appears you seem to have missed the words fetal,
unborn baby and fetus )
part.

According to Mayo clinic a fetus can also be referred to an unborn baby .
The qualifier is the word unborn.

Who cares , as long as the word unborn is there.

The word that "unborn" qualifies is BABY. In a sentence, the noun is the main word, an adjective is secondary..

You're doubling down that every law is linked to an individual moral stance. WRONG!

Call the Pope, file a complaint, okay...

Baby also is quite often used as a term of endearment.
It is used to describe girlfriends, boyfriends , cars , boats , pets, etc.

Sometimes it is even used to describe an infant, a neonate ,a young child, but an unborn baby is unborn, which means it is not born.

It is just a general term.
