Democrats Have Momentum

Trump's son in law is Jewish. He has many friends and close acquaintances of color. People of color, under his presidency , see unemployment rates for them at record or near record lows. Somehow you seem to miss the obvious.

I should not waste my time on someone like you. Your mind is closed. Closed shut. Facts be damned. Thank Goodness I can vote, it feels much better doing that than reading your non factual fantasy hate fest

LMAO - this post is a joke right?

haha. Facts say early voting has surpassed the amount of votes in the last election!!!!!! So you're wrong.

Do the facts say that the early voting has surpassed the amount of votes in the last election are democrats only?

Of course not. It's across the board. But if polls are accurate and independents are breaking for Dems as decisively as they suggest, Dems are in for a big night.

Dream on ...

I'm not all that thrilled with the Republicans chances, but it would be pretty funny to see 2016 again, wouldn't it?

Remember when Hillary took the momentum going into election day?

https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/upshot/presidential-polls-forecast.html

Democrats need +25 to take the House, which would be about average for a first presidential midterm. The average loss in a midterm when a president is less than 50% approval is 37 seats, though.. and current RCP estimates have Dems at +26.

My GUT tells me that Dems will under-perform against the polls in Red state seats where they currently lead, and way over perform in blue states that they have no chance of losing. That would leave a fair chance of TOTAL votes nationwide going Democrat, but the actual seat count going Republican. At that point Democrats heads really would explode, I think.

Looks like Trump scare tactics aren't working in local races.

Polls w/50% or more for Dems:

FL, NJ, MO, AZ.

Dem slight leads:

NV, IN, WV, MT

Dead heats:

TN, IA, TX

Republican advantage:

ND

Democrats can afford to lose ND if they pick up either IA, TX, or TN. Democrats need to win every state they have a slight lead in in which to take the Senate. It also helps if they win all three TN, IA, and TX in order to gain a majority.

Wishful inside straight notions: Odds courtesy of Bookmaker.eu along with 5dimes.eu the two biggest online sports books

Polls w/50% or more for Dems: FL, NJ, MO, AZ.

Elected US Senator in Nov. Elections?
Arizona.....
Krysten Sinema -D +122
Martha McSally -R -149

Elected US Senator in Nov. Elections?
Missouri.......
Claire McCaskill -D +141
Josh Hawley -R -175

So both these states which I'm assuming you feel favor the Dems by Polls w/50% or more for Dems, actually
favor the Republic candidates
##########################

Dead heats: TN, IA, TX

Elected US Senator in Nov. Elections? Tennessee
Marsha Blackburn -R -550
Phil Bredesen -D +400

Elected US Senator in Nov. Elections? Texas
Ted Cruz -R -446
Beto O'Rourke -D +336

So if you really feel that Bresden is in a dead heat with Blackburn a $100 bet on Bresden will get you $400
And if you really feel that Beto is in a dead heat with Cruz a $100 bet on Bresden will get you $336

These aren't dead heats these are sure republican wins, how anyone comes to the conclusion that
these states were in play is mind boggling!!!!!!

2016 is a prime example of “expect the unexpected”. Nothing is a done deal until the money’s in the bank.

I am hoping for a blue wave but it is unlikely for the same reasons as 2016. Dems are getting cocky again and people are believing that they are going to win. When that happened in 2016 people stayed home thinking their vote wasn't needed. This has that same feel to it.
The Dems' violent rioting behaviors (BLM, Antifa, shutting down conservative speakers at colleges, etc.) as well as their Marxism has me to the point where I will ALWAYS vote GOP, not because I like the GOP nominee, but because I oppose the Dems' violent/intimidating Marxist tactics/values.

In my mind, a vote for the Dems is a vote for Marxism, a vote for speech control, a vote for gun grabbing, a vote for the stripping of individual liberty, a vote for "mob rule" that will ruin America, a vote for division... I don't support those things, so the Dems' tactics have me energized to go out bright and early and to always vote straight GOP.

I don't think Dems are losing due to "cockiness"; I think they are losing due to their Marxist tactics and rhetoric...

This thread just shows how divided we are. Democrat vs. Republican.
Yes.

What happened to what is good for America.
The Dems took a huge :eek:uch: on that with their "ends justify the means" thought process...

Our the two parties so far apart in ideas that has to be one or the other.
Yes. It is quite literally one or the other at this point. The Dems have fully embraced Marxism and want to ruin this Federated Republic (they deny that it is a Federated Republic and instead falsely refer to it as a Democracy) so that their elites can rule it as a "Democracy" (meaning Dictatorship or Oligarchy, since Democracies never last). They don't support the Constitution, they don't support free speech, they don't support gun ownership (self-defense) rights, they don't support individualism, they don't support Capitalism (which built this country and made it the great country that it became), they don't support our policemen, they don't support our military... They instead support rioting, violence, and hate-filled division of all types (race, sex, education, intelligence, age, you name it)... They keep black people in poverty solely so they can faux "help them out" through entitlement programs in order to keep their votes. It's a disgusting disservice towards all black people and I hope that they start waking up to it and joining the GOP instead... They also support murdering unborn children, which is also absolutely abhorrent in every way imaginable... They also support stealing/theft (through taxes, especially on "The Rich" [whatever that means]), which is immoral.

There is no iota of reason for anyone who loves this country to EVER vote for ANY Democrat, and EVERY reason for anyone who loves this country to ALWAYS vote straight GOP in every single election from here on out (unless the Dems change their abhorrent "ends justify the means" ways)

I don't know about the other States. Last I heard on the morning news is the Senate race is to close to call. Polls say different things but all within margin of error. Bottom line, Arizona won't know till the votes are counted.
Seems like a lot of States are close at this point... I feel that the GOP will gain at least 1 "Senate" (which is a secondary House of Representatives at this point) seat, if not a few more.

What's true is that GOP is dong nothing to lure me in. Their platform is so far right that they have lost my support. I won't be voting for Menendez though...

Is bringing jobs back far right to you? Lets go line by line and see where exactly sthe GOP is too far right.

Always the same. Democrats start thread after thread after thread with hundreds of messages absolutely certain they are going to destroy Republicans in the election, while most Republicans tend to speak of hope but uncertainty.

Why? I think it is because so many Democrats are in fantasy realities for which wishes equal facts, while Republicans more are living in the real world.

So there you go. If you sincerely believe Tennessee & Texas are dead heat & feel the info you
mentioned is solid you can benefit big time by getting 4 back for every dollar you bet. If you
feel your instincts are solid, pounce on those odds.

while Republicans more are living in the real world.

That's the dumbest thing I've ever seen on this forum. Donald Trump liar of lies is the leader of the Republican Party. They live in an alternate reality where a migrant caravan is gonna come kill us all.

Based mainly on the indications from early voting that voter turnout will be higher than in 2014, I suspect the democrats to have an edge - again, based mainly on the idea that higher voter turnout is usually better for Democrats.

Yes.

I won't go so far as with "There is no iota of reason for anyone who loves this country to EVER vote for ANY Democrat, and EVERY reason for anyone who loves this country to ALWAYS vote straight GOP in every single election from here on out (unless the Dems change their abhorrent "ends justify the means" ways)".

We have a Republican who is a State Representative. I totally disagree with his position on federal land, which is to have the State take over all the Federal lands. There are other positions where I believe he is way to far to the right.

I have been a republican for all of my voting years. For the last 10+ years I am more of an independent. I tend to vote for who I believe is the best candidate regardless of political party.

imo, both parties need to pull back towards the middle of their beliefs.

The scare tactics aren't working anymore. Optimism is building and I feel a blue wave is coming. The Caravan scare failed. The racist ads failed. Now this new crap about King Elite Frat Boy (Kavanaugh) will fail b/c nobody cares about him anymore. Trump is now whining that he wishes he were maybe a little bit nicer. Saying that him and his cabal of Fox News talking heads complete w/ a Pence are more powerful than Oprah and Taylor Swift.

Republicans are very good at being the opposition party of no. They utterly fail at "winning." Because they have been programmed by their media to hate everything that isn't them and that those same people they hate are actually the ones out to get them. So when they have to defend their own crap, they can't do it, and they have to make up more crap. Yet the stuff they made up during this time of "magical negroes," and "scary brown people" is so silly and ridiculous that it has driven Trump's poll numbers down. Down to the point where he doesn't care anymore about winning the HOUSE or an investigation into his taxes!

Donald Trump. Mr. Big Time Great Businessman doesn't think he will win the HOUSE.

The GOP is going to hold the Senate.
