‘Bernie Or Bust’: Bernie Sanders’ Supporters More Determined Than Ever After Chaos At The Nevada Democratic Convention

The “Bernie or Bust” movement has grown now that Bernie Sanders’ supporters are outraged over the chaos at the Nevada Democratic Convention on Saturday. Despite having less support during the convention, Hillary Clinton was awarded more delegates. The decision caused Bernie supporters to become outraged as they believe the Nevada voters are victims of election suppression.

It turns out that Bernie Sanders actually had more support at the convention than Hillary Clinton. However, the convention did not count 58 delegates for Sanders because they said they did not switch their party affiliation to Democrat in time for the convention. The delegates had until May 1 to become Democrats, but at the Nevada Democratic Convention, 58 out of the 64 contested delegates for Sanders could not be found as registered and were stricken from the count. Due to that issue, Hillary Clinton was able to take Nevada by 33 votes.

...

Sanders’ supporters are angry because they claim the convention rules were changed literally at the convention in order to purposefully deny certain delegates from voting in order to ensure that Clinton took the majority of delegates. Then, when the underdogs demanded a recount of the delegates because they believed they were being cheated, that request was denied as well.

Denying delegate status for not registering as Democrat by May 1st is plausible, but that this was the case for 91% of Sanders delegates is definitely not.

Saturday’s Nevada Democratic Convention is now marred in controversy as reports from independent sources surfaced of delegate tampering and rule changes that ignored support for U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), and took away delegates he earned at county conventions in March.

The 16-hour convention began with a temporary rule change that was “passed” despite not receiving a clear majority of vocal votes, according to a report from Heavy:

Sanders supporters had been worried about these rules for weeks and had collected delegate signatures to seek changes to the rules. According to Jordan Chariton of The Young Turks, this rule change involved going with the delegate count from the first tier vote and ignoring the delegate count from the second tier, which Sanders had won.
Corroborating Evidence Shows Clinton Camp Tampering with Delegate Count in Nevada

Apparently the rule change that's been mentioned didn't affect the registration problem. The rule change was a vote to disregard the second tier caucus results entirely, and the vote was taken 30 minutes before the event was supposed to begin.

So bam, everyone who went to the last caucus just got their vote thrown out before everyone was present.

See, I'd like to think that among Hillary supporters, there are more people who actually respect the right to vote than those who are just dishonest filth, but apparently her supporters (at least those at the convention) are just as dishonest as she is.

Can't blame this one on Trump, eh?

I wish I could say I was surprised by such tactics.

We're seeing the exact same thing that we saw with Ron Paul and the tepubs. Hillary has no support from THE PEOPLE, period. So what do dem leaders do? CHEAT. It's despicable. Anyone who has been a financial supporter of the party should pull that support for good after such a display.

She has no supporters. Nobody wants a criminal like her. The people at the conventions supporting her are most likely being paid to do so - put that together with the dem leadership cheating and committing acts of fraud and then add the so-called media touting her as a "frontrunner" and you have a deception that Americans swallow hook, line, and sinker. How fkn ridiculous. Why can't people be not so easily duped?

I see no ulterior reason for Barbara Boxer to support her, given that she's retiring.

MONEY. Wall street is cutting fat lump sums to anybody who will support Hillary. That's what they do. They BUY people. Money is nothing to them.

Well,, someone must support her. After all she has a couple million more votes than Sanders.

The ones who count the votes support her. They are the same ones who don't count votes that they don't want to count.

Just look at rally attendance and do the math. Then ask yourself where this couple million is coming from.

If Americans don't wake up fast to the fact that they are being (and have been for some time now) PUNKED on a very grand scale, tyranny is just around the corner for them. It's time to declare WAR on the media.
